  • So I have now had my Summit for about a year. I have completed several upgrades, but this one has had the largest impact. I can now stay 'off grid' for as long as my food and water can last. By using modular components, it makes this route to upgrade a little easier on the wallet. Let me know if you have any questions below in the comments. Thank you for watching and the support!

Have you come up with a solution for the panel wiring to keep it from catching on overhead obstacles? At the 1:15 mark I noticed there is a lot of snaggable wires up there. The reason I ask is because we plan on doing something similar on our Summit and this is one of our concerns. I was thinking about a wind deflector like on a roof rack and keeping the important bits under that. Thanks for the ideas, keep the vids coming!

It is still a work in progress as I have had the same thoughts. I’m trying to find a way to keep the wires routed in the middle vs the side, but no luck as of now. I did run into another Summit owner and they also have the same issue with the solar panel wiring. As I find different solutions to this, I will share in a future video. Thanks for watching!!
