"Probably another Corey Deuel Special" - you have no idea brother.
What a genius, that Corey... Man..
Saw corey take a couple thousand from a house pro spotting him the 6 out in a little run down pool hall...he kept it close to make the guy feel like he could win...when he was 3 games ahead he just dogged balls or purposely played bad position...
wow I played stan in a master's mini tournament in vegas at the VNEA international event. he took first I took second. good player
No cap?
I played with Corey for years . He was the reason pattern racking was banned. Mad scientist for breaking.
“I think it was just lucky, I dunno.”
- Corey Deuel
Awesome! ... Corey does is legal it is how he sets up the rack.. ball goes in the corner pocket and the stripes end up on one side of the table and solids on the other. brilliant! pool magic.🎱👍
What size table is that?
The first rack was probably one of the craziest things I’ve seen as a result of an 8 ball break.
That's not crazy at all. He's deliberately stacking the rack and breaking from said angle with medium power to separate the solids and stripes. There's literally videos on how to do this and it should be illegal at this level!
I agree that they shouldn’t allow it at this level. But if they do, take advantage. That’s my point, the fact he pattern racks and is able to do that pretty consistently is insane, and this is the craziest result I have seen. Don’t care how good anyone thinks they are, this takes insane skill! Anyone can break and run a table these days. But to master different types of breaks and taking advantage of the rules in tournaments that allow it and to take advantage of the players who complain about the rule, is smart.
@@bassinbilliards6279 it actually did get banned. I played pro for 12 years and towards the end of my career they started banning it from tournaments. Corey actually cause havoc on 2 breaks. His soft break eventually tourneys asked for that to be banned and also pattern racking. He then started using the bridge to break .
@@jimmysupafly1547 I know they stopped corey but there's still tournaments in which pros rack their own and use it to their advantage.
@@bassinbilliards6279 oh yeah many but for the most part you'll notice bigger ones will eliminate it.
interesting, i always thought that you had to break a rule before you were considered a cheater
it's not like nobody else can rack them that way moron. go ahead do it just like him and see how far it gets you in pool
Ending of that 3rd rack, was bad ass by Corey! Wow!!
My friends know Stan and one of them has played him before in Chinese 8 ball. I've only seen him at our local pool hall but that's it
Has any one tried the Laser Stroke Training Aid?
And did it help your game?
I would say this goes against the rules, even if the balls are different each time...what is the difference of putting strips or solids in the same location, so when he soft breaks, all of the other group are all grouped next to the rack (within a foot on the first break)...it should be stripe/solid around the outside, that would alleviate this from happening again.
People's response or solution to "pattern racking" is always alternating stripe and solid on the outside. But this in and of itself is pattern! I have always been baffled by this logic. If this whole "pattern racking" is really seen as an issue, then have a ref rack the balls or in situations where this is not available simply make everyone rack exactly the same pattern each time for every game.
@michaelwade4758 Isn't this bar? If so, he isn't cheating. Being cheeky with the rules maybe but not against the rules.
I gotta try this racking system since both guys used it.
@22:36 you can see Stan check out Corey's pattern then copy it himself
Corey is a mad man 🎱
1:50 - That's some bullshit right there! I LOVE it. Hehe
I'm wondering if you'd give me permission to use a few clips from this match in a commentary video? I'd of course reference this video in the description and throw a video link card in the video as well.
@12:50 That was a baffling decision.
Really bad shot decision but even worse luck scratching from that angle
Only to the, Uninitiated, lol!
Instead of complaining why don't people just rack them the same way he racks them if it's not illegal
Never see that break before.... Mr. Comentator? He racks them so that is more than likely to happen. He's got a video on it. Just like his soft 9 ball break. He pattern racks the stripes and solids for the outcome he got. LOL
What a weird spread of the balls in the first rack - in that the only ones that spread were the little balls
the guy calling this is suspicious of every decision Tourangeau makes.
Corey is not breaking any rules in his racking. Only rules are 8 ball in the center and n solid in one corner and a stripe in the other. Learn the rules of the game before you claim someone is cheating.
I'm not claiming he's cheating, he's obviously just doing what he thinks he need to do to win. However, pattern racking is offensive to me as a spectator. I want to see the players make good shots, not set themselves up for the easiest ones and definitely not set their opponent up for impossible run-outs.
it is 100% boring for spectators.
I wonder why no set of American 8-ball rules requires exact locations for each suit.
English 8-ball has an exact configuration for racking and ergo pattern racking is impossible
Illegal lag, coreys ball hit rail before other guy even lagged
that doesn't matter
It’s not a cheating rack because anyone can do it, neither is using a jump cue. The rule needs to be changed !
Cory started out with an illegal rack. Look at where all the stripes are before and after his break shot. I've noticed this before. IMO, he can't be trusted, anything to win, and I mean pretty much anything. They've had to change some rules just because of him. :| pip
Deuel cheating in the rack. All solids on one side.
Wow that table has a terrible roll
This commentator is so annoying woth his saliba as mouth!! I hate that i kant watch the match bc hos voice is disturbing
Daniel Miguel hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Corey and his cheating rack! Haha didn't work this weekend in 4bears! Svb destroyed him & everyone else.
Finally, I understand what Raj Hundal is referring to! Thanks.
it's called strategy and consistency. key to pool. learn to play
Kyle Eastman Good call Kyle.
Well said kyle
Far from cheating. He was smart enough to figure it out. Along with the soft break and the bridge break. I played with him for 12 years he's no cheat he's just a genius.
