- Ilia Delio Ilia Delio is known as a ‘Theologian Futurist’. She is a Franciscan Sister with Doctorates inboth Religion and Science, with interests in evolution, physics and neuroscience and the importance of these for theology. She currently holds the Josephine C. Connelly EndowedChair in Theology at Villanova University, and is the author of twenty books.
Ilia argues that quantum physics and neuroscience are key elements informing our understanding of spirituality and the future of both the human race and our planet.

Being so conformed unto Christ that we begin to share in his own divinity. Thomas Aquinas called “Deification” in his works, becoming conformed unto God, it’s meant to be done though the Eucharist sacrament, if we don’t understand this, we don’t understand who He really is….Lord, to whom shall we go?

The yarn has been outdated since the mideaval daze stuck in the mythic level of awareness. Delio takes us to the next level of understanding which incorporates present day understanding of the material world around us through the lens of quantum theory. wake up!

Ilia is as a legitimate spokesperson for God. As was Isaiah, Moses, Elisha --- she hears the big story, correlates it all and promotes that evolution which is upon us. I am so grateful that Villanova supports and honors her place in the Kingdom of God. She takes the " that good old religion " and brings it to life, she does not negate Gallalian Christianity, she infuses it with power and meaning. Centuries from now. there will likely be statues and halls of learning on the campus of Villanova in her honor.
How blessed we are for our hearts and attitudes to be so beautifully challenged and moved through this teaching today. Deep gratitude is mine today. Pattie
