Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning. Someone else already mentioned it. If you remember 9/11/2001 you will get emotional.
Just wait till you hear “Murder on music row” with Alan Jackson and George Strait!
I don’t think he’d understand that unless he really liked country and knew what happened to it over the years
@@mattdefrain3815 I see where you’re coming from but I respectfully disagree. It might open up his eyes as to what’s been going on in the genre.
i like their song, Designated Drinker just a little better
Where were you when the world stopped turning and daddy let me drive are two of his greatest
Alan Jackson is dope!
“Don’t Rock the Jukebox”
“Good Time”
“iT’s Five O’Cock Somewhere”
“Small Town Southern Man”
“Summertime Blues”
Great lineup
dont rock the jukebox & SUMMERTIME BLUES I second these
All great songs you picked for sure
"Someday"
Midnight in Montgomery is one of my favorite Alan Jackson songs. So somber.
Alan is simply a poet who sets his poetry to music. Love his tribute to his daddy....Drive (for Daddy Gene).
This song always makes me cry. My husband and I celebrated 25 years in July. We raised 3 awesome kids and definitely went through many trials along the way. This song makes me think back on our life together. Thanks for reacting to this one.
This was definitely a special song for Alan and his wife. They were going through a rough patch in their marriage, but I this song helped bond them even more. Love this song
My husband is military and we got married in my moms backyard around his training schedule. If we ever get our dream wedding we will dance to Alan Jackson’s Look At Me. Add it to your wedding playlist!
Do "Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning" "It's 5 O' Clock Somewhere" "Good Time" and "Small Town Southern Man".
"Drive" is a must.
I played this song to my old bosses (married husband and wife) because it reminded me of their life. They fell for each other young, separated and spent a few years apart, then came back together and fell in love and married. Their son helped make them stronger.
So as I play this song for them, they start dancing just like Alan Jackson and his wife. They’re quietly talking to each other and smiling and it just brought tears to my eyes. Think of that moment every time I hear this song!
Saw Alan perform in Atlanta (his native state of Georgia) and it was great.
That's his wife dancing with him and that song was about his life. Beautiful.
That is Alan's wife Denise in the video along with their three kids.
Alan Jackson-like red on a rose, is another good one. Definitely another wedding song
And "I'll Go on Loving You."
Though that might be baby making music with how sensual it sounds, especially with the lyrics. 😆
Where were you when the World Stopped Turning is a great song by Alan Jackson
Perfect wedding songs, different artists: Tracy Byrd "Keeper of the Stars" and Chris Ledoux "Look at You Girl"
Billy Currington Must be doing something right.
Ooooh I love this such a beautiful stunning voice your wedding will be amazing im sure you will have some amazing artists ..thanku so much love and god bless x
Murder on Music Row by Alan Jackson and George Strait is awesome! See if you can find the live version! It was at one of the awards shows.
This is my absolute favorite song by Alan Jackson
My favorite Alan Jackson song is “the older I get”. Damn I love that song.
Beautifully written and sung for his wife ❤️
Midnight in Montgomery! Great Song!
Alan is such a great songwriter and performer so I love a lot of what he does but what’s so special about this song to me is how it doesn’t candy coat the struggles people often go through. No one said marriage and raising kids is easy but man is it worth it! The song mentions how the start was hard and how life threw them some curves which happens. Also, how they’ll break each other’s hearts and hopefully bend but not break the marriage. How having kids can teach valuable lessons to the parents who have to let go of so much of themselves and put the kids first which often brings the parents closer even though the job of raising kids is one of the hardest yet most rewarding things they’ll ever do. It also talks about how our perceptions and values change as life moves on and how ultimately we’d do it all again, the struggles, the hurt, the broken trust, the rebuilt trust, the joy, and the love. It’s a masterpiece and had I not been married for 17 years with two kids this song wouldn’t have the same impact on me as it does now.
This is my song!! My husband played this to me and said honey, this one is for you!! And he never had done that! We are high school sweethearts ! Married since 1990 ❤️Tennessee
Where at in Tennessee? Crossville here!
@@scottyray8004 Hahhaha hi pal I’m your next door neighbor! Springhill!!😜

You gotta hear Whiskey Lullaby by Brad Paisley and Allison Kraus.
Pretty sure he has a reaction to this already
I am a diehard Alan Jackson fan . Have seen him 19x's and counting. He does have a duet with King George Strait "Death in Music Row" For a good laugh , check out "Don't even know your name" . My husband said this was his sing for me , cause he fell in love before he ever knew my name lol. True story I swear
If you want another "Week Of..." topic suggestion: Humorous Song Titles...
"If I Said You Have a Beautiful Body, Would You Hold It Against Me?"--Bellamy Brothers
"It's Hard to Kiss the Lips at Night That Chew Your A$$ Out All Day Long" Notorious Cherry Bombs
"Kiss This"--Aaron Tippin
"Thank God and Greyhound that You're Gone"--Roy Clark
"May the Bird of Paradise Fly up Your Nose"--Little Jimmy Dickens
"I Pray for You" (more of an ironic song)--Jaron Lowenstein
"Better Things to Do"--Terri Clark
Thank you so much for sticking with Alan Jackson after your videos got blocked. He is amazing!
“Drive”, Small Town Southern Man”, “Chasin’ that Neon Rainbow”, “Where Were You When the World Stopped Turnin’ (that Sept.day)” “Livin’ on Love”
Chasin That Neon Rainbow was the first song I ever sang on stage, I was in 3rd grade. Lol.
Yes love this he one of the greats
The woman he was dancing with is his wife. They had a rough patch and pulled it together. High School sweethearts. He had to sell his car he loved at one point to pay the bills. Years later she tracked that exact car down, bought, refurbished it. You may see it in a video or two an older white car. Can't remember what it was. This song is a Parent's song. Slow enough Dads will get up and dance.
One of my fave artists
This song always makes me cry...it's so beautiful.
Alan Jackson- Someday
I am not sure how you do it, but you have found a way to make all of my old favorites new favorites again....for that sir I thank you!!!!!!
"She will bust your windows out" hahahaha
She cried because it meant so much to her...and giving up her innocence.
Told you it was more of an anniversary song instead of a wedding song, lol. Still absolutely beautiful though. Great reaction!! You're Awesome!!🙂
Look he also does good times.... worlds largest line dance you gotta see it man!!
Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood- Remind Me beautiful song, beautiful voices perfect for weddings
This and "The Dance" are the best two country songs ever written
Love this! Thank you for doing this one! 😊
This was one of the songs I used as background music for a slideshow I made for my dads 55th birthday. Had photos of him and my mom, his childhood, family moments, etc. Such a great song
I knew you would add this one to your wedding playlist :)
I really appreciate how you truly enjoy the lyrics and voice of the music that was around when you were a lot younger.
Where were you when the world stopped turning ♥️😎
Love.
Jackson married his high school sweetheart, they have now been married 40 plus years
Alan Jackson- I'd Do It All Over Again
Alan Jackson's best song is definitely "the older I get"! Followed closely by this one
Stay by Sugarland!!!
Very emotional video!
Made a video of our life together and gave it to my highschool sweetheart after 30 years of marriage, 34 years together. Awesome to see somebody else appreciate love.
Alan Jackson “good time” is a must
You should really check out Alan Jackson's Where were you when the world stopped turning... He wrote it after 9/11. Have fun on your Alan Jackson trip 😁
The lady in the video is his wife. Read his backstory about his marriage. He lost his son-in-law unexpectedly. There’s a new song about his daughters wedding, it’s beautiful.
For the wedding list: Joshua Kadison Beautiful in your eyes & Rascal Flats My Wish (mom & groom dance)
You kick ass!!!!
Outstanding
Daddy let me drive..Play whenever want remember my Dad been gone 10 yrs..he had no boys but taught me to drive fix cars shoot fight and fish...miss him so much
“Between the Devil and Me” is a must by Allen Jackson!! Dude belts vocally and very powerful song.
Check out Midnight in Montgomery by Alan Jackson! Will give you chills! One of my favorites
Holla I love how you get into evey song it's like your living the song there singing and that's why I love your reactions Good on you bro!!!
Chasing that neon rainbow wanted when the world stopped turning I can go on and on with Alan Jackson
I havent heard this song in a while but it hits difference at this age and im getting chills
That mandolin is doin it though!
Monday Morning Church is a good one. She's got the rhythm and I got the blues. Midnight in Montgomery talking about Hank Sr., Tall tall trees is sweet one.
the lady he dances with is his real life wife.. love this song
Love is hard work. There are going to be hard times. But if you work through it, make the effort, then a lifetime of happiness is what you end up with. People have forgotten this. Nothing worth having in life is ever easy. But if you both work for it, you have something very few people these days have. A relationship that stands the test of time.
Alan Jackson and George Strait- designated drinker. You’re welcome!
Alan Jackson and Tupac Shakur were poets and storytellers. They're unique and one of a kind artists.
Wanted!!!
The Blues Man by Alan Jackson!
I love this song, thanks for reacting to it
His tribute to George Jones, singing George Jones's "He Stopped Loving Her Today" at GJ's funeral.
A fantastic song for your wedding list is “ Lady “ by the late Kenny Rogers !
Murder on music row by Alan Jackson and George Straight
You NEED to hear “someday” by Alan Jackson. Music video is perfect too
I would really like to see you react to Alan Jackson, Where were you when the world stopped turning.
Thank you for doing these❤️His “ The Older I Get” is a beautiful song as well.
He has a sequel to this song, it’s called “The Best Keeps Getting Better.”
Imo he is the king of country
(Little Bitty) or (Good Time) are great.
this is NOT a "wedding" song...its a song you dance to with the father of your children...at their wedding!
Wedding list for my daughters will be “I loved her first” by Heartland! You have to hear this one!
"Deeper Than the Holler" by Randy Travis is a great song!!!
Holla! You've got to listen to Brooks and Dunn's song "Believe". True story for lead singer. You will love it! George
Alan Jackson is a legend. He did a cover of Don Williams "It Must Be Love" bother would be good.
Also, for your week I recommend "Little Bitty", "Living On Love" (definitely put that on your Wedding List), "Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning", and "Sissy's Song"
Wedding playlist is not complete without Tracy Byrd's "Keeper of the Stars"
Woman cry because of the happiness we fill .
You need to do Kenny Rogers. You like this for a wedding play list, you need to do Through the Years by Kenny.
Perhaps you'd save Alan Jackson's "Let it Be Christmas" for another playlist in December. :-)
Brad Paisley!!!!😊
best wedding song.."we^ve only just begun..... by the carpenters
New(ish) sub here. Now I feel like I have to keep watching to see how all these wedding plans turn out! You crack me up! 😂🤣😂🤣
I got married to my bestfriend June of 2017 and this was my walking down the isle song
CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP ITS NOT ONE OF WEDDING PLAY LIST XD great reaction btw
When he said we broke each other's heart that means in their marriage they went through a lot of stuff sometimes they were happy sometimes and they broke each other heart but they made it through everything together. If I'm not mistaken this song was for one of their anniversaries they have been together a very long time.
I recommend Randy Travis 3 Wooden Crosses
This was his, "Please take me back" song. He cheated on her and she kicked him out. It was a scandal at the time. They are, however still together. High school sweethearts, started dating at 16
This was NOT a take me back song. That was not why he wrote this for his wife Denise.
Yeah, I seriously doubt this. I saw a couple of people saying the same thing in the "I'll Go on Loving You," video, and that video is much older. So somebody's wrong.
This song was a tribute to his wife who still sticks with him through all the ups and downs. Yes there was a cheating scandal, but that was in 1998. They made up in 1999 and this song came out in 2003. It was a “We made it,” song.
Brooks and Dunn had a ton of hits. Clint Black is another.
Maybe not a wedding Playlist, but a 25th anniversary playlist.
Son, make sure you have yourself a winner before you pop the question. The right one will make your life so great...but the wrong one.... WHEW!
