Thank you for sharing! My school has been beautifully remodeled two years ago. However, it’s seems to have stifled my previous organization and creativity because I don’t want to mess anything up. Watching your video has just reminded me of why I teach choice and how I used to organize. I’ll be borrowing some new ideas from your space!

I loved this so much!!! Haven't learned much about this art teaching philosophy but I love how it gives kids more freedom and room to love art. I'm a junior in college studying to be an elementary art teacher, and it's fun to find passionate art teachers like you on UA-cam and get ideas!
Hi Andrea! I would highly recommend this method if you have any interest at all! I started with the more traditional DBAE and then once I found this philosophy and applied it, I never looked back! 😊 Kids. LOVE. being able to create their own art, using their own ideas!!

Thanks! They use them to scan QR codes to view instructional videos and to photograph their art for their Artsonia portfolio.
How does administration feel about choice based classroom? Are you in a public school? Is there a cirriculum?
My admin completely supported it. It's a differentiated, student-centered learning model which is what administrators are all about these days.
Is this for multi grades or a certain grade?
This is for 1,2, & 3rd graders
