There are very few songs that I get emotional listening to. This is one of them. One of the sweetest voices ever created. RIP Luther

Nobody like Luther! He is definitely on the Mt Rushmore of R&B singers. Thank you for all the wonderful memories of listening to you with my mom on our Sunday mornings in the kitchen. My moms favorite all time singer. RIP Mom and Luther

I’m not sure if anyone mentioned this but Luther is a master of taking a song and covering it in a way that makes it his own. Listen to Dionne Warwick’s original version and compare it to his live version. She is cheering him on in the NAACP awards audience. She even cries. This is my first time on your channel. I’m glad you liked this song.

Love this man's voice, so much depth and the richest tone to his voice--perfect timing with an emotionally authentic delivery. Luther makes you believe it happened to him, and it could happen to you too. Thanks for posting!

Luther is guilty of causing tons of pregnancies. One of the greatest voices in music history; if not the greatest R&B singer. I can't really forget about the man the myth the legend Marvin Gaye though. Two Bosses in R&B.

It doesn't get much better than that. This is one of Luther's signature songs. My man was showing off with the "Are you're gonna be, say you're gonna be.." lol.

      D. Brown It's a treat when he and Martha Wash team up on "I Who Have Nothing". I even like his duet with Janet Jackson "The Best Things In Life Are Free". Well, actually I like any and everything by Luther

@@sereneamani1713 I'm not familiar with Luther and Martha's song but I love her voice too so I'll have to check that out. I really like his duet with Gregory Hines "There's Nothing Better Than Love." I'm like you, anything Luther works for me.

You really need to see the live video in celebration of Dionne Warwick Image award from the NAACP. Luther is sooo killin’ in it! I think it was 1978.
