ITINERARY FOR 3 DAYS JAPAN Winter | Best Things to do in SHIRETOKO National Park

If you are into nature, wildlife and winter away from crowded touristy places like Osaka, Kyoto, then Shiretoko Hokkaido is the best place for you to visit. Here you can experience winter differently. You can see wildlife in action, swim in the frozen drift sea ice, ride a icebreaker boat and many other winter activities in Shiretoko.

How to go there:
You can either take overnight bus from Sapporo to Utoro or take a direct plane from Tokyo to Memanbetsu Airport 女満別空港, and take a direct bus from airport to Utoro Bus Terminal.

Thanks for sharing your trip! hokkaido is really a beautiful place in Feb. Do u mind sharing why you took a bus from Sapporo instead of flying to memenbetsu airport + bus as it seems shorter than than taking a long distance bus.

Ah, it was monetary reason. There was a seat sale to sapporo. so it was cheaper than going directly to memenbetsu airport.
