Drayton Manor Theme Park is a popular family-friendly theme park located in Staffordshire, England. The park opened in 1950 and has since grown to become one of the most visited theme parks in the country, attracting over 1.5 million visitors annually. Drayton Manor is known for its thrilling rides, themed areas, and various theme park rides and attractions that cater to guests of all ages.
One of the most popular attractions in Drayton Manor Theme Park is Thomas Land, a themed area dedicated to the beloved children's character Thomas the Tank Engine. Thomas Land opened in 2008 and features over 25 rides and attractions based on the popular television show. Visitors can take a ride on Thomas the Tank Engine himself, or explore the many themed areas of the park, including Knapford Station and Sodor Airport. A brand new water ride is coming to Thomas Land in 2023 called Thomas and Percy's Submarine Splash
In addition to Thomas Land, Drayton Manor Theme Park offers a wide variety of thrilling rides for visitors of all ages. For thrill-seekers, there are roller coasters like Shockwave and Stormforce 10, while younger visitors can enjoy gentler rides like the Flying Dutchman and the Carousel. The park also offers various water rides and a 4D cinema experience.
