Accelerator ON RIDE at Drayton Manor (Sept 2023) [4K]

[4K] Accelerator at Drayton Manor, join us on this fantastic family coaster as it travels forwards and backwards, twisting and turning its way at high speed with great views of Drayton Manor Resort,
Accelerator is a Family Boomerang Roller Coaster manufactured by Vekoma which originally opened in 2011 as Ben 10: Ultimate Mission. When the sponsorship with the Cartoon Network ended in 2016 the ride was renamed Accelerator. While Boomerang rides were first manufactured in 1984, the Ben 10: Ultimate Mission was the first Family Boomerang to open and is the prototype for this ride.
Velociraptor opened in the Lost Kingdom area of Paultons Park in 2016. Other examples include Booermang at Parc des Combes, Luna at Liseberg, Raik at Phantasialand, Volldampf at Erlebnispark Tripsdrill. A Family Boomerang Spirit is due to open in Emerald Park in 2025.
The Accelerator Coaster is located in Main Park at Drayton Manor opposite the Thomas and Friends 4D Cinema. Pandemonium and Apocalypse were also located next to Accelerator until their closure in 2021 and 2022 respectively and construction has begun on their replacement which can be seen from the top of Accelerator's lift hill. Accelerator has a top speed of around 37mph (60kmh) and while it does not have any inversions, the ride as the Boomerang name suggests goes forward and backward.
What are the height requirements for Accelerator at Drayton Manor?
Guests must be a minimum of height 1m to ride Accelerator and a minimum height of 1.2m to rude unaccompanied.
