Ohhhh my gosh . . . are you able to share, if possible, closer looks and longer video about all such. Just epic haul.

@@abeach5420 such a wonderful haul today! I will eventually be cleaning or restoring as needed each one , and some get longer videos as I work on them . Was there a particular favorite you’d like to see me work on first? It’s hard to choose!

My favorite is the knee-length cocktail dress. Nice haul. 🎉

@@BarbaraSculati Hiya . . .oh I appreciate that. Sorry if jumped ahead too fast. I am just finding too many creators are rushing through at top speed in videos and constantly showing their faces and over the top amplified fake reactions etc when we WANT to see i.e. the product or location or animal etc rather than them haha. Also videos are constantly under 10 minutes when we come to YT for vides so I am getting annoyed at such. I am newer to your channel btw in week month. Truly these majestic garments need to have patterns created from such (I dont know how haha but seems critical as vintage/cloth anything only lasts so long--but longer than fast fashion of course). I would love to see close ups using bright lighting of design features, unique things you can tell us about--history of some designs maybe). I just loved them all. I am not a designer or anything as such, but adore vintage dresses.
We get nothing like this in CA -- country just too young and enormously less populated etc as USA. Also the main monopoly big box thrift organization (am sure yo know whom I mean) is absolutely grossly overcharging in CA since about 2017 so wedding dresses and anything really good just do not make it out onto floors unless they are junk.

@@abeach5420 I startled off making videos for Instagram and the maximum time limit is 90 seconds, so that’s why they are so short. As I am now starting to get more followers here on UA-cam, I plan to start doing longer and slower videos- the 90 second limit has always been a challenge!!! I do however need to figure out a way to be able to create these videos but still keep getting the items listed on Etsy and EBay as that’s how I try to make a living- I tend to put more time into making the videos than I should but I enjoy it so much 😊 I know I am so fortunate to have wonderful resources near me for vintage and I’m also so grateful for all the donations I get from followers as that can help me to continue experiment with different fiber contents/ products/ techniques. I truly love what I do.

@@BarbaraSculati Hi ... oh yes of course focus on what makes you a living or a top-up to your living. It would be so interesting to hear of who buys your gowns -- do they share videos and pictures of such with you. It must be THE DREAM to secure such pieces and be the size to fit in such. Do you sell to people in countries where many are naturally tinier like France or Asia. Of course smaller people are in N.Amer. also, but I d not know more than two people that could fit in those old school, *before fast food and all the bad food additives etc* , dresses. I hope that people buy items too that are not able to be fixed them remove the seams and make patterns etc, then others could adapt from such to create a different size if needed.

It would have helped if the gowns were properly pressed before displaying.

@@emoore0613 This was just a haul video- I don’t press them before I clean and repair them as that may further set stains, but I do press and steam them once they have been cleaned/ prepared for listing. 😊
