@@olivetree4166no dude, no instrument comes close when it comes to how hard learning one instrument can get. I play trumpet, bass, guitar, piano. I am good at the rest but still get frustrated with the horn.
@@raktimparasharwell depends on how u see mastered. If u say mastered trumpet when u can make it really softly sing, happy swing, yell and scream without even going slightly out of tune. Then hell yes but it also goes for almost every other brass instrument (cornet, bugel, alt Hoorn, bariton, euphonium, bass Eb and Bb) trombone being class apart because that’s even more difficult with the slide

Great performance, but personally I dislike buskers who use amps, mics and backing tracks. That is for gigs, not street performance. Just my personal preference.
Subcomandante73 this was a gig and not busking. I was booked by the shopping centre in Halifax to provide music for shoppers in the run up to Christmas! They have regular live music every week.
The singing was so unexpected in the best way I was at first sad the trumpet stoped but then was in with intense nostalgia for something not even from my generation. Beautiful playing and singing as well.
Whilst it may seem simple to ear, there are so many technical features of his playing that make it sound soo good, which comes with very skilful playing.
I grew up loving punk rock, two tone and northern soul, now as I get older I can not stop listening to Jazz, maturity is a wonderful gift. Fantastic playing mate real music for your soul, top drawer.
I would think by the way that you play that you are a professional musician. I’m sure that the late Louis Armstrong would have been privileged to have you play with him. I live in New Zealand and this is the first time I’ve seen your music, bravo.

I think what I love best about your playing is that you can play super fast, pretty high, and very intricately, but even when you slow it down (like you do here) it's SO MELODIC, MUSICAL, AND GROOVY. I've bought a bunch of your etudes already, and hopefully will start to approach the facility you have with this instrument.
YOu have to wonder if the current generation has any appreciation for the music that once defined America. Are we so wrapped up in our daily lives we can spare a minute to be entertained by such a gifted artist?

You should go to more of these settings and record your own/other people's music, and upload them. You could really grow your UA-cam audience doing that in my opinion.
you could tell in the first few bars... the lip bend at the end of one phrase then the growl at the end of the next... so stylin. thanks for the ear candy my man
