It does make the reload animation the same as the fast hands one, it feels faster that the normal reload but it’s redundant if you use fast hands already
i was looking for this in the video lol i figured as much, i was testing the magwell grip and no grip reload speeds in the firing range for like 5 minutes straight and noticed no difference even with a stop watch
Aesthetically, the emotional feeling of using this gun makes it my favorite hands down. 9mm 1911 with no recoil is so fun, and the animations make it so fun to just look at. It may not be the best of the best, but I’m not super caring about full comp viability
Not sure if your into guns in real life or have a way to even obtain them based on your country, but the group of DS1911s have become my favorite shooting guns, I’m too broke for a staccato but I have a Springfield prodigy DS and it’s the best shooting gun I’ve used, the weight+9mm keeps the weight down super crisp SA trigger pull makes you feel like a pro shooter. They’re great guns and you can get some as cheap as 800$ for BUL or tisas brands.
As a hardcore main, i can say that this is now my go-to. The main thing that makes it so is not only the firerate, but the visual recoil. It just makes longshot follow up shot so much easier since i can actually see what im shooting at.
I forgot to mention it doesn’t actually help reload add time at all so it’s completely useless and actually harmful to your build even though it looks great

I am so happy they finally added the Staccato P to the game. Waited all year for this one. I finally have my pistol in the game. It immediately went on all my classes.
I fell in love with it the second I unlocked it I usually play hardcore and my top weapon is the X12 at 9000~ kills with the closest second being the M4 with 4,000~ So finally having something that can replace the X12 for snap shooting and semi-auto trigger spam is pretty coo
ironically, the competition barrel is meant to be faster than a stock barrel, hence the shaved down area where the rear sight would be, and the various other lightening cuts.

However, one minor (!) suggestion: when showing the different damage values ( 0:35 ) it’d make more sense to have the values the other way around = from top (head) to bottom (legs), so it matches the model on the right. Again, incredibly minor detail because the work and effort you put into these videos is second to none!

I do really wish you'd give a short demonstration of using the recommended builds. I really wanted to see bit of akimbo gameplay after going through all the stats and attachments.
I dont know if u noticed but apparently the deamon has a really slow raise/drop time.. just for that and the 60 dg headshot makes for me the x12 a better option
The Akimbo attachment is bugged because there’s this period when you’re ranking up the gun between the 20th and 21st level that just bugs this out, which could explain why you see two weapon tuning unlocks on those levels (when you first ranked it up when it just came out). If you’re on level 20 and just level 20, you can have enough time to put on akimbo, but when you get to level 21, you can’t put that attachment on. Unfortunately, I was one of the poor souls that still has this locked even though I maxed it out.
Man, i just love my sport-like looking daemon using on vondel with fast draw grip, second trigger, competition barrel and hip accuracy laser. Not so effective as smg at killing 300 hp enemy, but it's so satisfying with this animation of gun taken to other hand
I love the fact that this gun has practically no kick. Paired with OP rounds, dj laser, and sgt grip, it can deploy quick at close range and challenge enemies at longer ranges. The OP rounds help throw off the enemy’s aim which in my experience gives you just enough breathing room to nail the final round before he gets his shot off
This gun has supplanted the p890 as my favorite gun It's snappy, fast, feels great, looks amazing, sounds like a hot pepper on a grill in a thunderstorm and oof, I just love it on shipment
Been waiting for this pistol. The only other mil-sim pistol aside from the X12. Seeing as how MW2022 is a reboot of MW series, having a 2011 is a nice way to continue the 1911. Such a fun and satisfying gun to use.
As someone who is quite capable with the pistols in this game, the only thing that makes this gun viable is how easy it is to stretch the ranges and get very fast and accurate follow up shots. But in close (which should be it’s ideal range), it’s totally lack luster. If you can match the fire rate cap, then maybe it’s okay, otherwise it’s just sub par. I’m personally a bit bummed that this is the 1911 we get in this game.

my akimbo unlock is bugged. i assumed it happened when i backed out of the match i got the daemon to lvl 21 so the progress must’ve gotten corrupted that way. i tried do it again in another match but the attachment still didn’t unlock. i’ll just have to wait for another update to fix it
since the release of s5 there were 3 or 4 updates, but akimbo is still locked for me, that sucks. but in general, this is the better p890, good that i just finished the weapon mastery on that :)
I just want them to fix the akimbo option I have the weapon maxed out rank wise but i don’t have the attachment unlock. Maybe I have to wait till season 6 reloaded to get it fully completed
I like how he’s sleeping on the comp barrel, with the rapid fire trigger, ads laser and 26 round mag. The best build since the comp barrel comes with an optic and has no recoil. Consistently dropped 30+ kills each game with this build
If you're fine with an ADS time slower than most Assault Rifle builds (327ms with the combination you mentioned) then this could work but the gun is insanely accurate by default and there's no need to murder your ADS speed to make the recoil a bit better. I'm glad you've found a build that works for you but statistically, it's very far from optimal.
Akimbo is still locked which is outrageous at this point. I am a completionist and lachmann shroud is almost done. Daemon would have been done on day 1 without this bug.
It's fairly well balanced against the x12, but I think the x12's ability to two tap with a headshot and chest shot still outshines the Daemon's various small edges.
The x12 has much better 3 shot range and even longer 4 shot range where it the daemon takes 4-5 shots instead. Daemon excels up close, but in terms of consistency, the x12 beats it a little better it has better damage range and also barely any recoil.
Akimbo Bug Workaround: On Xbox I removed all personal game files, uninstalled the game. After reinstalling MW2, 138GB later, the bug was fixed and I could build an Akimbo Deamon pistol 🙏 👼

From my experience, even though the x12 has higher damage at close range, it has higher recoil compared to the daemon, and has a lower rate of fire. The daemon's base fire rate is basically the same as the x12 with its rapid fire trigger, which means that using the fastest firing trigger on the daemon makes it faster than the x12. Coupled with having extremely low recoil, it's perfect for doming snipers at 50 meters, since you only need 4 shots

But the x12 has 7m or more range at all damage ranges making it more forgiving. Perceived recoil on the x12 might feel worse so I can understand that but they are both essentially no recoil weapons

Those that question that just consider the fact today in the year 2023 people still talk about the legendary trigger and ergonomics. 110 plus years of evolution. John moses Browning creator of the 1911 knew what he was doing.
As much as the Daemon is a nail driver when set up well, i cant help but feel its stats are in compleat opposition to its aesthetic. Shouldnt a race gun be fast with good accuracy but lower than average damage.

It's a beast in HC. That race barrel with the free red dot. Quickdraw grip, high velocity rounds, 20 round mags... Lovely.

I’m surprised you never talked about the Flared Magwell attachment, it’s a very unique attachment that no other pistol has in this game.

I love the way it feels! I still think the P890 is better, but the consistently of the Daemon at range makes it more favorable.
P890 seems to be quite a different "style" of pistol

I guarantee the akimbo glitch won't be fixed until AFTER the Lara Croft bundle release, the bundle that happens to have the akimbo daemons in it.

Dude, sometimes using this gun, the game simply doesn't shoot the gun a bunch of times. Don't know if it's latency or sbmm (or the other).
