It's been a few days since I last uploaded! With the last day of school out of the way as well as my parents' 40th anniversary I will be back to regular uploads. What's your fave wedding favour idea?
Sugar cookies!!
Once, for a Japanese event, I got little mochi balls in a favor bag. By far my favorite favor 😋
I love your idea of macarons.
No worries!! Take your time! These are so beautiful
Those macarons are beautiful 😍♥️♥️
You could do cake jars in mason jars with their name and wedding date. It’s a consumable and it’s something that they can keep in reuse
Also a great option!!
Idea stolen Ty lmao 😂
Actually that’s a great idea but how much would that cost
@@ashleyprice9487 it gets pricey bc mason jars are pretty expensive. Amazon has smaller jars that I use, they work ALOT better
@@brandygriffiss could you share a link? 🥰
Girl hold up. I need you to PLEASE drop an at home baker friendly Macraron recipe if you have one with some flavor pairings. It’s my dream to be able to make them for my family but lost recipes I find are so complex and require tons and tons of material that has to be ordered and is expensive etc.
I love the idea of edible gifts. Just add biodegradable/compostable containers for them and it would be perfect.
Or better yet, edible containers 😂
I TOTALLY agree. Practically no one wants a magnet or other trinket with somebody else's wedding date on it. Most people don't plant the trees either. I find consumables always work well for the large majority.
Out of curiosity, why are people giving things away at weddings?
Edit: I bought a shredder years ago for junk mail like credit card and party invitations. I was in the last wedding I attended... as a flower girl... and it was absolutely horrendous.
In my country we usually give out candies or keychains, but for rich people they will offer our traditional scarf. I will have to agree on the consumables, by the end of the party there are a lot remaining and some people can get two or three for the kids back home, I have 3 scarves from the wedding I haven’t used once 😆
In mine different weddings will give different varieties of things .. list of all the things I've ever gotten from different weddings
- food for sure (all weddings do this right)
- foldable basket for laundry
-hand fan
- de-tangling brush ( no I'm not kidding 😂- still use it)
- mugs
- fancy cups
- back scratcher (one of my fave)
- fancy hand mirror
- khaki bag
- fancy notebook nd pens(this one is soooo common in weddings)
- umbrella (three friggin times)
I noticed this in a lot of Nigerian weddings that I've gone to that if they're gonna give gifts, they'll share very practical gifts
One time my granny came back home with a plunger as a gift from a wedding🤣🤣
Your Piping is gorgeous as always, Thank you very much for sharing your Awesome Talent and Your Amazing Piping Skills with me as well Ashleigh. 😃
I agree! We had ground coffee as giveaways and our guests appreciated it a lot 🫶🏻
Oh I love that idea!
Exactly! I don't need another This picture frame with somebody else's name on it..
I completely agree! People never pass up edible favors, especially these delectable treats. From the perspective of a guest, I am much more excited when I see food in a favor bag than when I see pen toppers and decals and etc
My thought: "Wow, people getting married are named Shirley and Dick? That's so old fashioned -- oh, wedding anniversary; yeah, that makes more sense.
You're such a good daughter 💜
The macarons look so delicious
Very cute idea, I never did macarons. I usually do cookies, cake pops and cupcakes but the special boxes needed for them runs the cost up
I agree with you! Feed me sweets!
I don’t want a corny magnet or keychain that will just end up in the trash. (One exception is bottle cap opener)
Smh just because you have experienced something doesn't mean we all have. Also I am tired of people being rude because we aren't all rich and can afford stuff!
I love these 🤍❤💟 so thoughtful
You are. ...something I can actually eat 🍓🍓
I HAVE THAT SAME COCA-COLA GLASS!
Those Macaróns look SCRUMPTIOUS 😍 They're 1 of my favorite sweet treats❣️
I have a fancy bottle opener I keep in my purse and have used several times.
My dad and his fiance's wedding is tomorrow and the wedding favors are little succulent plants 🙂
Beautiful. That piping is perfection
We did small tape measures keychains that said "love without measure"
Super cute!
this is such a smart idea, I’m planning on doing catering for fancy events in the future & now I’m definitely thinking of offering this!
Where did you get those cute boxes!
i’m just sitting here shocked by that tip you used to fill them 😯 that’s so much easier than piping a circle
U give me one macaroon in a box ill be UPset lol
Absolutely beautiful!!!
I really think we should do things that aren’t going to end up in a bin and then the ocean. These are nice, but the boxes for each one is another problem. Recyclable packaging might be a compromise to have the custom packaging, but not clear. It’s not cute floating around as trash.
Have to agree with you on party favors. All those cute(not always) favors people spend so much time and money on just end up in the back seat of your car until the next time you clean out your car. We are having a gender reveal for my youngest daughter next month and I am canning little 6oz. Jar’s of jam for the party favors.
Happy 40th anniversary to your parents please
Thay are so cute.
We did chocolates in gorgeous little boxes!
Yuuuum also a good choice
these are gorgeous 😍
Macarons are my favorite dessert 🤤
When I try to make macaroons they tottaly failed lol but u did an amazing job!! 😊
Yikes that’s a lot of single use plastic for a biscuit. Unappealing.
WOW 😯
I so agree.
I try make those but it’s a hit or miss can you share you recipe with me. Those look beautiful
Homemade jams, in small mason jars with bridal couples date and thank you on sticker
Brilliant
You make it look so easy!!! And yummy!!!!❤️ My favorite wedding favor was chocolate…..ha, now macarons!😉
Can you show us how to make the macarons ? ❤️🇬🇧
I have lots of full length videos on making macarons 🥰
Awesome video! I greatly agree that macarons make a wonderful gift. Lavender lemon are my personal favourites haha.
What kind of piping tip did you use for the outer ring of the macaron filling?? :)
Woah those are my grandparents names lmao definitely not the same people though my Midwest grandparents probably don’t know what a macaron is lol
Wow
What did you use as that white icing in the middle of the macarons? They look amazing! 🤩
Apart from wedding favor. Something I can eat stay with me
Can u tell the ingredients & amounts?
Love all your videos, the Macrons are beautiful as always just wanted to know where to purchase the clear boxes for the Macrons? Thanks
My cousin actually made them for the event!
@@SweetDreamsBakeShoppe Such a wonderful idea would definitely purchase if available !!!!!!!
I don't agree with that, but those look really good
If they have a strawberry filling, don’t they need to all go in the fridge? How do you fit them in the fridge until the day of the event? Or do you just not worry about it?
I freeze mine, but also refrigerate if it’s closer to the date! I would say even with the strawberry, you would still be fine to leave out for 24 hours 🥰
Such a waste of plastic
What about macarenas?
If you want to make something that doesn’t have a lot of waste, maybe don’t use a clear plastic packaging that’s going to go straight to your local landfill.
Uhm… do you sell these and are able to ship them?? They’re not for a wedding but just for myself 😂 do you have a website??
Isn't it a plastic throw away? :(
At the start I thought she said I really want a Taco Bell and I was like same girl
😂😂 I didn’t, but I’m also totally down for Taco Bell whenever
When did macaroon cookies get changed to macaron?
Macaroons and macarons are two completely different things
I've made Macarons..but not Cake Pops....are they hard to make?(Cake Pops)....
Super easy once you nail the correct feel for the cake pop dough!
Where did you get your plastic boxing from? 🙂
My cousin made them!
Let’s normalize no favors!
That's cute and all, but dang could you have put atleast 2 macarons in there?! 😆
We were going to at first, but mine were too puffy 😅
Where are the little boxes from?
My cousin made them!
Yeah no one will be keeping that magnet on their fridge for long. Can’t go wrong with sweets!
Why would anyone waste a perfectly good dessert?!
What is the wedding season
Wedding season is when most weddings usually occur throughout the year. Of course people get married all year round, but it’s most popular during the summer months!
@@SweetDreamsBakeShoppe ohh thanks for the info! :)
I kept wondering why moon pies are still a thing... and then I saw this. I'm very happy we are not friends.
What are moon pies?
@@SweetDreamsBakeShoppe They're dog dookie between crackers covered in what tastes like and appears to be Elmer's glue and some of them are pink in an effort to seem strawberry flavored. They are perfectly disgusting in every way imaginable. I think originally they were a Southern US thing but we found some in NM. Google them. You won't regret it.
Btw, I love your videos. They keep me eating healthy and like everyone else, I love watching other people make things, even if I don't love the end result. Keep 'em coming!
What? Are you talking about manufactured cheap store box moon pies because homemade moon pies are absolutely yummy and have nothing to do with dog biscuits or Elmer's glue and it's extremely unfortunate that is your only experience with a moon pie
A real moon pie is a graham cracker type sandwich filled with a marshmallow filling and then coated in chocolate maybe try making one instead of buying the pre-made garbage
It's kinda of like a smores uncooked
I just realize that she said Macarons wrong😃
Macarons are different from macaroons. They're not said the same.
It’s just that she said it wrong
@@moyinakanmu5192 no she didn't
Those look so good and the box is adorable af, I just wish people would stop using Scriptina LOL it seems like its the only font available, i have seen in everywhere since 2008 lol
My mom’s request for the font style-since she’s older I think it’s something she’s more drawn to!!
You mean edibles? Use those for party favors
Could you use paper instead of plastic? It's not like our planet isn't polluted enough.
I can, but I generally didn’t provide this type of packaging when I was selling. They were brought in by the client.
@Sweet Dreams Bake Shoppe weren't you or your parents the clients?
@@lufciferslilith9858 her cousin made those
It's pernounced mac-a-roons
No, those are a completely different dessert
Macaroons?
No, those are made of coconut. Macarons are the Parisian sandwich cookies as seen in this video 🙂
