Great nostalgia, I played with all my corgi's often to the point of their destruction e.g. Ford Anglia Ice Cream van, Lotus Climax and Porsche Carrera 6.
Wow did I enjoy your video!!!! I have been collecting Corgi's since the early 70's and yes lol I still have them all :). But great video and take care!!!
Thanks Brad, much appreciated 👍 I really wish I still had my 70's diecasts. Not that I had loads or anything and none were kept boxed but it would have been great to see exactly what I had. My son loved playing with vintage models when he was young🙂
Couple of memories from childhood Jules. Firstly one of the little details I loved as a kid with the Beetle was the fitment of rear mudflaps, which was accurate because all Beetles had mudflaps as standard in the UK. It was a very robust model because despite lots of playing the paintwork survived intact. I never got the Cadillac ambulance but as a child I absolutely coveted it - everything American was so glamorous in the sixties! I have yet to get these two from CMC because I am a few months behind but cannot wait! My experience with CMC btw is that if you contact them with your issues regarding apintwork, box etc, they will immediately and without question send you replacements. Great video again - love watching these and they provide me with a great sense of anticipation for my own future arrivals.
Great stuff Colin, so glad you're enjoying the videos. I have the next one in hand, the new video will be coming in about three weeks. I too am a bit behind but I'm ok with where I'm at for now. I too would have loved these back in the day but I mainly had Matchbox models,.which I have also started to collect again and really enjoy them. I did have to replace one CMC model,.where the packaging had hit damaged in assembly, but like you say, it was sorted straight away👍 Great customer service. Thanks again 🙂
Great video, thank you. And I agree, the Volkswagen is one of the best so far, although the whole collection is superb. I like the way you have displayed the models, looks really good!
Nice . The ambulance is great , and a cool lighting system . Love the volskswargen . Sorry to say this but my money is on the rhino to win. 😂😂😃 .Cool ( cant escape that sixties word ) display piece . Thanks for the show and tell , and remember keep your eye on that rhino 🤣
As a kid growing up in 1960’s Chicago I well remember the red ambulances screaming by, but never a blue and white one. I too would have preferred the red model, but the blue/white is a curio. I’m not really too thrilled that it says “Ambulance” on the side. They should have added “DUH” underneath that.
Hi i have just joined your channel looking good but have a question for you i just restarted my membership if i want to get 2 or 3 a month how much would it cost please
Hi Paul, I believe you can play catch up on the club by getting multiple cars on the same delivery. You only pay one lot of postage, saving £4 per car. You can call thrm and they are extremely helpful 👍
Absolutely beautiful! I used to have the safari beetle! Looks like Corgi really did it justice on this one! The ambulance looks great also.
Thanks my friend 👍

It's a great one Mark, just a shame the box art seems a bit faded👍

Could do video on original corgi toys made in england
I would if I had a few to share, but I've not at present, sorry.
If they could only keep those boxes from being so shiny.
A really great point!

Too bad this series is made unavailable to avid Corgi collectors across the Channel.
I get this comment on every video, it's not true, check their website.👍
