Good video Jules. You need the Lotus Similar to that driven by Emma Peel in The Avengers. For the boot - press at the very bottom first .That should lever it open. We forget these were designed for little hands - not our big adult clunky hands!
Another Great video Jules, I think you have jumped one though, what happened to the 318 Lotus Elan S2? That came out between the Golden Hawk and the Mercedes!
Hi Jules, thank you for another great Corgi Model Club review which I shall save as I have done all your other Corgi reviews. As a Corgi Model Club member and collector I always look forward to and always really enjoy these reviews of yours and will be looking forward to the next one. Out of curiosity, are you aware that you seem to have overlooked the Lotus Elan No.318 which would have been released immediately before the Mercedes Benz 600 or did you not want that one?.. It's a cracking little model.
Interesting that the Mercedes seems to have a (albeit non functional) sun roof as well. I love both these additions, but I agree with you that I would not have sought out the Mercedes on photos alone. However, in the video it looks terrific!
Thanks Glen, you're right mate. It's funny, I film these pretty much in one take and I'm discovering how they work just the same as a kid in the 60's. The Mercedes was much better than I was expecting too.
beautiful detailing on both models!
Absolutely Mark, they are very well made.
Love the mechanism of the wipers . Thanks for the show and tell .
Thanks Sylvan 👍
Love the Mini! Great little video, keep it up!
Indeed I will my friend 👍

It's true, it looks like the club have skipped the Lotus for me. I'm ringing them later today🙂
Nice mini car
I love all the Minis👍

You're right, I shall have to give them a call to get back on track. I was almost caught up!

I didn't realise at the time but the Lotus has been missed, what a cheek. I'm going to give them a call tomorrow 🙂

You missed the front hood Jules, I was anxiously waiting for you to open it but it did not happen...
It's true, I film these on one take, it's almost like being live. I did overlook it! Bit annoyed I couldn't get into the boot either tbh👍
Corgi. Model club. Vintage. Video
Thanks Kenny👍
