As a longtime medical educator, I should come clean that I discovered your channel when reviewing for my board recertification boards (every 10 years), and was so impressed with your teaching style that I now consider you a mentor. When working on a presentation on a new topic I now look to see if you have done the topic and watch for ideas. You are so organized, knowledgeable and clear. We docs are not taught how to do the teaching that we are expected to do, and Love watching a master in the craft!

This is one of the most self aware and honest statements I've heard from a medical educator! Thank you for your honesty and your desire to teach well! That means more to us students than most other things!

So often the lectures in medical school fell short, most medical students in my class didn't even bother watch the recorded lectures but come straight to outside resources. Lecturers who use this style have always been a favorite for students.

If I have strong headache and migraine the only medication I do is. Fresh he genger like 1/4kg and boil it like half of 1.5 Litter of water. If you target a strong taste of genger, I swear in 5 minutes you will feel how you can feel better. Not only headache I can used it to whole my body pain no need any medicine.😊 the more spicy taste the more better

I'm currently high af on my epilepsy meds which also help with my migraines, so 28:14 knocked me out cold 🤣
Thank you for your videos though, I had really bad food poisoning and went through a lot of tests to make sure it's really just a case of "coffee from the dirty office coffee machine" while yes it was just that, we also figured out that I have zero seggsy hormones but my prolactin levels are through the roof! My doctors are in a panic while I was sure that I've heard about that happening because of a benign pituitary gland tumor.
Imma keep watching to the end and then when I'm better I'll write a letter/report to my doctor, referencing your video. Would suck if I had that tumor and it causes my migraines.
Btw you've also helped me and me doctor diagnosing my asthma on point!
Doctors can't memorise EVERYTHING, so again thank you so much for your work ❤

Just stumbled on your video. Yep, you guessed it, I'm interested in the source of my own migraines. I feel better prepared. I'm about to get an MRI, but more importantly I'm better prepared to talk with my neurologist.
I am better when I get up, rarely get relieved by laying down, and I either get up and medicate (immitrex mainly), if it doesn't go away. If I stay in bed, it will absolutely get worse.
I have no idea where I stand given all those topics, symptoms, etc. But I'm grateful to learn about these red flags. I do get auras, always with out the headache. Even days later. I'm female, 68, obese, and lately hypertensive. I am getting stressed, taking care of my mom, a dementia patient, and work full time. No doubt the cause is somewhere in these symptoms known or unknown.
Great job you did on this lecture. I am a training manager with about 25 years, and you are a fantastic trainer/educator. Thank you!!!
