I never make comments but I felt like this song had to have my comment. I listened to this song back in 2012, I used to fall asleep to this song just cause I fell in love with it. Yet I lost my link to the song at the time. And I forgot what the song was called but I always wanted to find it again. I always remembered the slow beginning, that it was a long song, and the visuals were amazing to me. And over the years I kept looking. And here I am over 8 years later, and I found it. And I cried It's been 8 years and this song has never left my heart, thank you. I'm glad to found you again...
I think this is the story of Hatsune Miku's beginning. Some scientists tried to create a human with an amazing voice, and it succeeded, but Miku wanted to be a normal human and escaped
Ah I remember this being the first vocaloid song I have ever listened to. Now, with like +400 vocaloid songs in my library, this still takes me back to when I started to love this kind of stuff. GO MIKU.
The best trace song I’ve ever heard, even a decade later. Kanzaki hiro truly created a masterpiece with this song and I’m sure I’ll continue to listen to it for years to come. Nothing else out there even comes close to the kind of mood and reflection that this song brings out.
It's amazing how even with all the war, violence, crime, corruption, and ugliness of life we can still make something great and beautiful that shines as a beacon of hope... that right there is the definition of Hatsune Miu
Saw Kanzaki Hiro (formerly known as Hanasoumen-P/HSP; aka Hiroyuki ODA) uploaded a 2020 remix version recently, so I had to revisit the original. Still as beautiful as ever. This song is DEFINITELY a timeless classic =)
For two months, I have been listening to this every day. I often cling to a small selection of songs, rehearing them for several days until I am through with them. This one has been sticking to me for long. It's simply a masterpiece.
This was the first Miku song I ever heard, and I'd forgotten about it for so long... now I'm listening to it on repeat for the past week, such a chill, but somehow energizing jam!
There is honestly no song I have ever found that can move me like this song does. No matter what happens in the course of a day this song sets everything right again.
@thatthingoverthere That just shows how much your information is worth as it is hard to find your way round in the scene without amazing Japanese language skills.
Don't judge me, but I swear that in my opinion, listening to the Nightcore version of this while eating ramen in an empty shop at night in Japan would seem relaxing and somewhat nostalgic. Don't judge, but I've never been to Japan (I've actually never been overseas consciously, the last time I went was when I was a toddler and I didn't even know I was overseas) So in class or when I'm listening to songs like this or the song "Symphony", I imagine a calming scene where I sit by the window of an empty ramen store at midnight and as I stare out of the window my worries fade away, if you get what I mean?
some people complaining about the 3 minute long intro, it's actually me favorite part
perfect song, not a single flaw
Instant gratification is everywhere these days, people start to forget how to appreciate buildups and progression.
this song sparks a special type of nostalgia that i cant find in any other song and i love it.
It really hits a special part of you. This song has a way to become really beloved after just one time listening to it. I love it a lot too.

This song is that powerful. I dont think youre alone on this feeling. Its always been special to me ever since the first time i listened to it.
I love how sad yet sweet this song is and not depressingly sad, just the right amount.

The power of symphonic synthesizing!! :)

Unfragment, Kokoro and Melody... are timeless classics about the self-awaress of VOCALIDs.
But this one hits harder than Weißer Schnee.
10 years passed & this is still an epic MV With great tune.

There is a manga, though. It's called Hatsune Mix. It would be pretty interesting to have it adapted as an anime.

She just wants to be free and come home to the city, away from the controllers
@thatthingoverthere with this kind of knowledge, you can publish everything you got in your mind, EVERYTHING! and that is what i aim for.
wow nice song..!!
I'd love to toss this song in a mix. It's so chill! And it's Miku, so that's always a plus in my book. :D
When I first heard miku sing I thought she was real who just had her voice alternated
hanasoumen-P or Hiro Kanzaki is also the illustrator for oreimo as you may no doubt have noticed from how miku is drawn in this pv
Lo mejor de miku hatsune! My favorit song 3
Good Job!
It's been 2 years since I heard this damn 💔
One episode for each song! Each with different pairings and personalities to match the theme! So many possibilities :)
