THE NATURE OF SOUND - SYMPHONY OF SCIENCE
Вставка
- Опубліковано 31 жов 2017
- A journey into the world of sound and music with Julius Sumner Miller, Brian Greene, Bill Nye, Yehudi Menuhin and more. Sound has always fascinated me - the way mere vibrations in the air can evoke such strong emotions, and how humans create our own meaning from arbitrary motion of molecules. We are like gods, building huge cathedrals of sonic beauty from minute, invisible physical forces that surround us.

For anyone wondering the guy who says "Music Changes us, inspires and Moves us, Music Reaches all of us and Unites us." Is Robert Gupta. He has a really good TED talk called Music is Medicine, music is Sanity.
Thank you mate, thats really interesting. Do you also know about the man who says "Science in music"?. Im kinda interested. It looks like a film or and old interview. Cheers.
Thank you buddy
Some years ago, I had a mentor. He teaches me about music. He was my absolutly hero. I've learnt so much from him.
He kills himself the other day.
The creativity in me died on the day I got the phonecall of his dead.
I was unable to do music, to listen do music, to work with music.
It's like 10 years ago that he left, but I still have very big problems to hear music.
But the music from melodysheep calms me down. I feel safe and calm when I hear the mixes.
And now I'm sitting at my PC and crying.
I love your work Melodysheep.
Please never stop to create your wonderfull pieces of art.
:) This comment makes me cry .... I'm not very good at English .. but I must tell you ... creativity never dies... follow your heart ... if you want to create ... do it .. I hope you all right now.

Music is one proof that science and art is connected, like painting with chemistry; so I don’t know why some science majors belittle those who are art majors. I’m a science major and I don’t humiliate or underestimate art majors only so I can feel superior to them because I’m not a self centered person. I appreciate and love art myself. Besides, without creativity and imagination, we wouldn’t have today’s technology.

Amen!
👏
Yeah, very true. Additionally. our entire cultures are based just as much on art as they are based on scientific discovery. The two are interconnected. Without the discovery of how to create paints and different colors, there would be no paintings, without the paintings we would have one less thing to stimulate and inspire our brains to reach for more scientific discoveries. Both are equally important for the continued development of humanity. It is sad that there are many people who cannot see or appreciate this.

Science is something that is objectively true but philosophy must be studied harder.
What is science in your view and your own terms?

OMG finally MelodySheep is using scientists in his music again! I’m so happy! Christmas came early! Amazing song! I’ve been hoping for this for SOOO long! Please make more music with scientists, even if it’s just their voices with or without auto tune, I listen to your music all the time and my daughter falls asleep to it every Friday and Saturday and has now memorized every famous scientist because of YOUR MUSIC. You did that. You’ve changed lives MelodySheep

YES! IT HAS RETURNED!
I've been listening to this collection on repeat for a couple of weeks. The operatic voice interjecting is delightful. Please put all of _Symphony of Science_ on vinyl if you can. I have the single, but the whole album would be wonderful.
I'm intermittently addicted to several of his songs. Little Tokyo is special!
Another masterpiece, my both ears loved it!
So good!
Music and Science combined ? Yes sir.
One word: INSANE!
TWO YEARS WAITING
ENJOY EVERY SECOND
Thank you.
Thank you for making a new one to bring joy to us.
And the video length is 3.14 so. Yeah.
I liked that taiko drumming too
I think it's safe to say that this is some good sound.
And... if you want to have fun with this video... hit the sprocket settings (hover mouse near bottom right) and set the video speed to .75 it really plays on the 'vibration theme, and is a beautiful adagio version of this piece. Your're welcome.
Balrogz This is brilliant and fun. MelodySheep is good at any speed!
I CHANGED THIS RIGHT ON THE DROP OF 2:16 AND HOLY SHIT IT'S AMAZING

Beyond the Horizon & THE Nature of Sound ❤❤❤
I just found this video. The way you present sound and musicians in this video, together with all these little techniques to create a unique cyclic 8-bar chord progression that sounds so interesting and experimental with all its rhythmical patterns... I'm close to tears. I love sound! Thank you!
All in all, the music in your videos is truly inspiring and unique! I love it so much!
This is why i like music!!

Julius Sumner Miller from The Hilarious House of Frightenstein..
Wow that was a deep pull from my childhood..
I remember watching him in my 7th grade science class. He's like "Some people say mercury is bad for you, but they're idiots!" and proceeds to straight up drink a shot of mercury!
Listen to every sound...
This was epic! So glad you're doing Symphony of Science again!
Welcome back!
That was beautiful man!

I love it! Symphony of Science is back! With most of Melodysheep's song I don't really like it right away, but after a few plays I find myself listening to them all the time.
So f**king good.
My less favorite part about Melodysheep´s songs is when they end
My favorite track on the album! :) I remember watching the guy that starts off the song when I was young.. Really one of the best songs I've heard in a long time.
Fantastic! Thank you for all of your work you have shared with us over the years.
wow this was great! loved it!!! So glad to see you making these again! I have commented this on other videos of yours but you should consider a symphony of science about the ocean, particularly using sylvia earle, jaques costeau, etc! I think it would be super interesting :)
YEEEEEEEEY!! NEW SONG!!!!! I love all of your symphony of science songs, you are amazing! Keep that great work! I loved this song!! :D

I love that this starts with a clip from the professor, Julius Sumner Miller. His physics demos and programs are what I aspire to.
This is the best video, in my opinion, that you've created in several years - a masterpiece!!
What a trip that was. The music is still vibrating in my ears... Thank you for the music
I can't wait for the next one! Good job on every single one of these songs mate!
@Melodysheep
This is the amongst the world's greatest works of art, that will live on throughout history! ❤
Imagine, hundreds of thousands of years later from now, if our successors are still alive, and have access to the web, they'll see this as beautiful history, and think us to be just as amazing as us today think of in regards to our Ancient Civilizations❤
Thank you Master. You know how much you inspired and will continue to inspire my work.
I am so very happy that you are back again. and going straight for awesome. I love it
