So, despite all of my professors nay-saying them, calling the videos and other merchandising of this time, a "cultural pop-science phenomenon". WTF?! As if mathematics alone should interest one enough to major in science?! I think not. There just aren't enough representatives of science out there trying to make it more approachable. Thanks, MELODYSHEEP for what you really do.

Without the math in physics, we couldn't send satellites or people into space. In fact, almost all of our modern technology would be impossible without having first formulated and tested mathematical laws. You just can't do physics without math. Deal with it.

My 6th grade teacher showed us this when we were learning about space. Almost immediately my entire class loved this song, and that isn’t normal! This song is amazing, it was stuck in my head for a while. I could listen to this all day! By far one of the best science songs I’ve ever heard in my life. The beat, rhythm, and everything is just perfect! I LOVE the video! Its so cool..planetary nebulas amaze me. I also love how the people talking regularly were modified into some sort of singing voice. So creative! ❤ I definitely want to be an astronomer now. SPACE ROCKS! ❤🔭🪐☄️🛰
It's strange seeing the contrast between here or _Time Lapse of the Entire Universe,_ which portrays them as ravenous demons, versus in _Time Lapse of the Future,_ which portrays them more like innocent animals just trying to live their lives, only scary to those lower on the food chain. I guess in that sense they're sort of like bears.
Coming back here for old times sake, my grade 6 teacher put this on when we were learning about blackholes and coming back now listening to it gives me chills
Oh, dude, it's just awesome! You have found a great way to combine useful with pleasure! +100500 for respect! P.S. Special thanks for the addition of Russian subtitles. Чувак, ты просто космос!)
"Zipping around our galaxy, nothing there to light them up." That line sent shivers down my spine. And the "anything that strays too close will be pulled in" animations of Earth and stars getting sucked into black holes are terrifying to watch.
It’s more that it isn’t taught effectively I think. You force kids into school then make them cram math largely by rote without actually showing them what you can do with it, and people wonder why kids mentally check out of it
I can sit in front of my computer and hear this all day long

Am writing this to say, as of right now we finally have an image of a Black Hole from the Event Horizon Telescope...date 10 of April 2019. 11PM Sydney Time.
noice
My 6th grade teacher showed us this when we were learning about space. Almost immediately my entire class loved this song, and that isn’t normal! This song is amazing, it was stuck in my head for a while. I could listen to this all day! By far one of the best science songs I’ve ever heard in my life. The beat, rhythm, and everything is just perfect! I LOVE the video! Its so cool..planetary nebulas amaze me. I also love how the people talking regularly were modified into some sort of singing voice. So creative! ❤
I definitely want to be an astronomer now. SPACE ROCKS! ❤🔭🪐☄️🛰
He didn't understood a thing.
Wha-
@@Diamond_Tiara Another ass opinion.
Goddamn trolls littering negativity everywhere. Ass
"Space makes no sense!" That's the fun part! 😂
I really love this song. I think is my favourite of Sympony of science series. Congrats.
I've come back to this piece of nostalgia after a decade. Still can't believe i was a teenager when I found it and now im almost 30.
Bro. The same. 27 here
@@ThatFuckinGameSame, 27 as well.
The back track is so freaking good... chills every time I listen
The music is so sentimental and thought provoking at 1:55 🥺
This is probably one of my favorite songs ever!
Same
This is my favorite of melodysheep, it is so powerful! I'd like to proyect it in a big room and show it to people.
And now with no Event Horizon
So what kind of music are you into?
Me:
“That is beyond the reach of science”
Now that is terrifying!
Watching this in 3D Imax after smoking a joint would be mind blowing
but drugs r bad m'kay
I’m 8 years late but glad I found this🖖
This is the best thing I've ever heared on UA-cam, thank you!!!
Okay so in science my science teacher plays this song, and onwards to the edge a lot and it's really gotten me into astronomy
187 aliens who wanted to escape from the black hole sended dislike button cause the graviy was so strong that they missed like button
Alois Tomek *clap clap*
Not even dislikes can escape
Epic
"Truth is stranger than sci-fi" Indeed!
I think I learned more from this 3 minute video than I would in an average 1 hour long documentary on black holes
Finally! Something Stephen Hawking can actually jam to without sounding ridiculous!
That didn't age well
Where has this channel been during all my life?
2:11
Somehow this sounds so epic and sensational that it fills me with an emotion I simply cannot describe-
This is amazing, your work is incredible
I found this in 2013, and come back sometimes....
This is beautiful
The nostalgia is insane
Coming back here for old times sake, my grade 6 teacher put this on when we were learning about blackholes and coming back now listening to it gives me chills
I need the instrumental version to this! It's so beautiful. melodysheep can you, or somebody, make an instrumental version of this?
"Space makes no sense." I love that 💗
Oh, dude, it's just awesome! You have found a great way to combine useful with pleasure! +100500 for respect!
P.S. Special thanks for the addition of Russian subtitles. Чувак, ты просто космос!)

Just came back to this years old video to see this persons progress over the years. This dude is surely a legend.
"Zipping around our galaxy, nothing there to light them up." That line sent shivers down my spine. And the "anything that strays too close will be pulled in" animations of Earth and stars getting sucked into black holes are terrifying to watch.
Yeah all of those lines sent shivers down my spine too it’s crazy how this universe is like
I just had a field trip and they showed this video in a planetarium
yo really? which planetarium? i hardly know ppl irl who know this video and other songs under Symphony of Science
Hey we did that too! Our class went to a planetarium and I asked about black holes. Hearing that song created this black hole obsessed human.
How do people find science boring? This thing literally tears holes in space and stops time. How can you find THAT boring?!
It’s more that it isn’t taught effectively I think. You force kids into school then make them cram math largely by rote without actually showing them what you can do with it, and people wonder why kids mentally check out of it
This is my new favorite video, starting into the Cyberspace 2020 era. I've watched it three times already.
