Sick as Truck!!! Makes me miss my first truck when i was 17,an 87 long bed same two tone paint and 80's as a mug orange and black pin stripes!!love every thing that was done here.

Heavy is a relative term. I put an LS3 in my '98 single cab and the truck weighed 3900 lbs, which is lighter than the Chevy SS that the engine came from. It doesn't feel tippy like a 4x4 extended cab. It navigates parking lots easily. As soon as I get it done, I'm gonna do a video, since all of the other videos on my channel kinda suck.
I tried to look at all the square body Silverados on UTube and you have the nicest one. Hope this made your day.

i wanted to supercharge a k10 a few months back but got discouraged due to the fact i dont have the money or the tools so im glad someone came in with a crazy ass build like this. Great video guys

This is such a nice and simple build, pretty much anybody can do it, he pretty much bought every part of the truck off the shelf and didn’t need to fabricate nearly as much as some people would have. You can pretty much get any junkyard car, buy almost the same stuff as him, and build this in your backyard

I’m from Missouri as well and we do love our trucks. Most are lifted with mud tires but this one is more my style. I have a ‘68 C10 Im wanting to mod with my son but being a full time single father makes times hard to make any progress on it. Love this truck. Very nice work!!

@@soldozer I know. I'm building one of these with way more suspension tubular cross members rack and pinion steering etc. It's nowhere near 75 grand. With a 700 whp turbo ls and 4l80e and a currie Ford 9". Nowhere absolutely nowhere near.

Anyone else miss 30 minute Build Biology Episodes? I like 12-15 minute youtube videos, but I want to learn more about these cars, trucks, land speed record vehicles, ect. Tons of cool stuff! and it feels a bit rushed. For me 15 minutes doesn't work with Build Biology. Just curious to see what you all think.

Evo_Winters just look up the videos of the vehicles you want to know more about. I watch tons of videos where they talk about suspension geometry, brake setup, weight distribution Etc. Check out Speed Academy they go pretty in depth with their cars

With everything I want to do with it I'll probably end up spending around 14 grand maybe more. But if I wanted to just get it functionally running probably half that

I have an '83 Jimmy- which is pretty similar in stance and build. Seeing what he did with the whole shebang, but particularly the custom bits in the original dash setup blew my mind.

please just leave. an ls swap in this car is super awesome. the only car I have a problem with putting an ls in is a rotary or a gtr. they were anything but lazy with this build.
