And the running order switches the vinyl sides in the way that the 7.5ips reel-to-reel releases did (to have the shorter side second and thus the extended runoff at the end), which made me wonder if this was an official prerecorded copy where the owner lost the original box. But then I'm sure I can vinyl crackle at the start of The Other One, suggesting it is a vinyl dub and was just wound to the start of Side 2. In any case, I quite like the vintage sound. Wish it had been Aoxomoxoa though, where the original mix is even more radically different from the early 70s remix.
"Anthem of the Sun" The Grateful Dead (1968, possibly the 1971 Phil Lesh remix)
Original mix. Sides revered, and the tape is running a bit too fast (actual length about 39 minutes)
nice find!
HOLY Dog In Heaven
Those meters are sure anemic.
Lol
Sounds like the Grateful Dead.
I was thinking the same thing but the recording quality is so-so.
It's definitely a photo of the grateful dead. I think the album is anthem of the sun.
Sounds like the original 1968 mix of Anthem of the Sun by Grateful Dead. Love this album.
