It didn't work but after resetting my PC about 5 times it sorted itself out

Thanks a ton! While I was learning Witcher III I button smashed A LOT, and after a while the controls would get all messed up! XD Seems like I kept hitting a short cut for changing the keyboards language... With this tutorial I realized it kept resetting to French! Omg that was annoying, you have my thanks.

For example, my keyboard is japanese keyboard, but i only use to type in English for windows 10 English version. By using japanese keyboard to type in windows 10 english version, is it using this way shown in video to switch to Japanese keyboard layout, so that i can type normally according to keyboard symbol (for example 'SHIFT + 2' is '@' in English keyboard, but Japanese keyboard is ")??
they default keybind involves the window key but when i press that it tabs me out of my game so i dont want to press it in order to change the language. How do i change the key bind from Windows + Space?

Not the way, got to language in the old control panel, Select your language preferences, Add a Input method, add your keyboard layout, then remove the US QWERTY style.This allows you to have the keyboard that you want but, still have US language (or your preferred) on the screen and no ENG thing at the bottom of the screen.
So this changes the language of the physical keyboard right?

Windows still make it a pain to add Colemak. Every other single platform except for Windows make it doable in a few clicks. Windows you have to go to a 3rd party, and then stuff around with loading it and getting it to show on the keyboard bar.

It's not the keyboard it's the interface
Your default keyboard layout or input method is the one that’s automatically used with the language you see Windows in (for example, the QWERTY keyboard for American English). If you want to keep your Windows language the same but use a different keyboard automatically, follow these steps:
Open Control Panel
Enter Add a language in the search box, and then tap or click Add a language.
Tap or click Advanced settings.
Under Override for default input method, choose the keyboard layout or input method you'd like to be your new default, and then tap or click Save.
i had a problem where it kept switching to an english language and i am swedish, so i have a swedish layout keyboard, it gets really annoying so when i followed the guide, the difference between yours and mine was that i also had the swedish language layout, implying that my keyboard will be able to switch between them, a thing that was semi automatic. simply removing the english language from it i hope i won't have to deal with this problem anymore, sooo... thanks i guess? internet guides are stupid when it comes to telling you what things are called and where to find them in YOUR language and considering i don't search online in my own language because i believe i can find more results and have faster reading comprehension in english, i just stick with that, but it doesn't work since my computer is set to swedish globally... i really should change that. having an english computer and a swedish language... words, complicated but i think you get the drill, whoever is reading... ugh, it has taunted me for so long!

I have difficulty adding the Zero Width Non Joiner (U+200C) character to Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator (MKLC.)
I'm trying to create a layout and to add ZWNJ to my space character when pressing Shift, but when I try to do so the program shows this annoying message: "Characters assigned to the SPACE KEY in any shift state must be spacing characters."
Actually u+200c is a spacing character, but seemingly it's not defined for the program.
Any idea how to fix it?

In my case, my windows language is set to English, but i wanted however, to change the keyboard layout to other language because it keeps changing is randomly between the keyboard layouts.
So I got to windows settings and clicked on "English" in the preferred languages section. Then, I removed the English layout from there and it was all set.
No restart required.
