    I have been using retinol because I heard it was going to help with acne. I know technically that’s specific to adapalene and retinoic acid/tretinoin, but I decided retinol was better than nothing (especially since salicylic acid leave on products didn’t seem to help much other than blackheads).
    I have been using La Roche Posay’s Rendermic cream for while and I now think when it comes to retinol products, most of the efficacious and stable products are at most what amounts to about 50~55 USD. I say this because La Roche Posay’s Rendermic R line’s cream and serum, which were the only retinol products I readily had access to, were around 50 USD. Recently, Loreal’s Revitalift Laser serum was imported, and although the percentage is 0.2% and the serum has fragrance, at least it’s half the price of the LRP Rendermic line.
    Always wanted to try The Ordinary’s retinol serums because I have never tried any oil serums before, let alone a retinol oil serum especially since it was so affordable! But due to them being imported the price went up to about 21 USD. I bought some anyway because it was still cheaper than LRP Rendermic XD
    I am probably going to rely more on Loreal Revitalift Laser though because I think its retinol is more stable and the department store is probably going to consistently import the product now.

      No, retinol for the face is too strong. Use something formulated for the eyes like Avene RetrinAl Eyes. Some people also have good results putting castor oil on their eyelids and lashes. Something with peptides might also be good for crows feet during the day because it stimulates collagen production.

Retinaldehyde… is less irritating…I have tried at least 4 retinol🥶Paula’s Choice 0.3, Cerave resurfacing retinol, Kiehl’s, and even a Taiwanese brand it’s contain retinyl palmitate 2%. None of this as good as Retinaldehyde.

    I want to start using retinols and more facial creams to take care of my skin. I am about to be 30 and might be a little late to this but I have a hard time figuring out what to use and how to use it. I see a lot of women on youtube using face creams and serums etc but I don't know how using all those concoctions will be good mixed together. I am starting to have fine lines under my eyelashes and it bothers me I dont want to use injections or anything like that. and my under eye bags lines wont go away. I didn't have them before do eye creams really work or is it another way for brands to make more money by selling different products for different part of your face?

      Avene RetrinAL Eyes is suppose to be good. The Budget Dermatologist talks a lot about it. I plan to use it next. Also, some people like castor oil on their eyes and lashes for thicker lashes, and I think it helps with aging too.

    • @destinychild4659
      @destinychild4659 Рік тому

      I don't think you are late at all. 😂 I don't think it's necessary to use Retinol in your 20s. My experience has been that no product is going to erase fine lines etc. Only thing that might is Botox etc. But I don't suggest that. All that is still risky and not worth it. Some say, you can use normal moisturizer for eyes. I wouldn't do that, especially since my eyes are very sensitive. There are some good ones, that make you eye bags less apparent.
