Seeing that combine start after that time was awesome, but I think it should make the next rebuild list
Well done lads. Great to see the old combine saved and still running.
Great to see the 780 running again! Definitely give a run In the barley!
Bet that baby would drink some juice when she is cutting Father Phil seems to have the magic touch with it.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE restore that thing - what a beauty!!!!
Love to see it harvesting again 👍👍
Definitely be good to see some combining with the old massy of you have the time.
Great job. Tvo is just 1 part petrol, 4 parts kerosene, nothing else. We run it regularly in our fergy.
Very cool that that old thing still runs. Take her out for a row and film it. Would be cool.
OMG good heaven, I'm an old woman 75yrs and here's me cheering when the yoke started, i was so sooo excited.. what a priceless video farmer Phil and thanks to Father Phil.. well done boys. 👏 ☘️💚 Greetings from up north in Omagh.
Phil want to see Daddy using that in the field
Great video Phil, father Phil was surprised when she started yes, I would like to see father Phil work her in the field.
I remember starting off on a little gray ferguson TVO start her on petrol and switch her over to TVO when she was hot flat out doing about 17 mile an hour you'd need a long arm to reach the tap I was about 14 years old going topping for about 10 bob an acre happy times if you broke down you walk home no mobile phones back then around 1968
Brilliant just brilliant
For keeping the grain dryer indoors could you not put on a roller door instead of a wall then you can open it a bit to let any gas out and you could drive the dryer out to work on it or replace it.
Wow Father Phil and Phil. What a wonderful moment. 5 years sitting a shed and 71 year old combine. !!!!!!! They don’t make machines like that any more. Fantastic. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️❤️
Good Job Philip
Hi farmer Phil that's a great video of your new shad and the best of luck with it lad great job 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
yes i do phil good job and vid from the uk
O my god I thought I would never see that running😂😂 15:21
Absolutely brilliant the old Massey Harris starting like that after all that time absolutely priceless, would love to see her cutting barley 👍🏻
😂😂 WELL DONE.
Great progress
Yes
Would be so good to see those Massey combine poshed up and run again, did look up TVO and said at least one company doing it again plus making premix
Definitely love to see the MH in action again. Father Phil's reaction was brilliant 😂 when she fired up!!
Need to build for trailer size in 10 years
100% wanna see Father Phil cutting with that combine! 🙏 😂
That’s amazing
Brilliant video Phil, really enjoying watching it all take shape. Well done, Phil, you deserve it all. You all work so very hard.
Great video Phil a great old combine
I'm not familiar with your TVO but, for us, have an old '35 JD non-styled "B", start with gas, switch to kerosene/diesel mix but, can just stay on gas since it has spark plugs. Your Massey Harris should still be able to run perfectly fine on regular gas instead of this "TVO". Yes, absolutely, would love to see this old girl up, running and harvesting again. People tend to forget, it's these old machines that has made the farming world of what it is today. Cheers :)
Jesus that's some going to run after all that time sitting, can't beat genuine machines ❤😊
Phill u should have invited lord Muck over for a will it start video . Have to say u are making a good go at that yard...fair play to ye..
Father Phil cutting with the ole Massey, yes please.
Beautiful old combine lovely to see it running, Dad looked happy.
Making the shed tydy is very important.
Great video nice to see the combine started we visited your farm shop on Tuesday had tea with you wife and bought a few goodies your sunflower doing great hope to see you harvest them with the combine
You should go as tall with the Roof as you can so you can Future Proof the New Shed because in 10 or 20 years you don't know what you are going to have and as you can see on every Farm All over IRELAND the shed's that where put up in the 80s and 90s are all too Small for the Equipment that's around Today so Build it Bigger today because in 10 or 20 years you will be happy you did. Mite cost a bit more today but it's going to save you so much Money and Time down the road.
No shed too tall, no gate too wide.....
Father Phil's reaction when it started
Phil your fairly changing the farm bringing it out of the past to the present good man
Yes please Phil love to see Father Phil cutting with the Massey Harris.
Shed will be a massive addition 👏 👌
We just love our favourite farmer’s in the world and We would love to see more of father Phil as well.So so good luck.🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

Love to see her working phil
Brilliant to see it start. The looks on your faces. Definitely need to see it cutting
Magic !! and not a black box of tricks or laptop in sight. I was on the bagger version.....hard work.
I think it would be great to get the auld combine out for an acre or two
You got some right lovely pieces there . . .
That Ole Massey Harris is ready for the harvest season!!
Will ye paint the uprights?
That’d be the plan
father phill is some detail, great stuff,
Your uncle Ian would have loved to see that combine running, I'm sure.
A future renovation project, maybe?
In the early 1970s l worked as a lad on my uncles farm in Kent on a massy Harris bagger combine , hessian sacks tied with bale twine , at the yard they all had to carried up to the grain store up a flight of wooden stairs , they wet the days , in 1974 l went in to the Royal navy and my uncle updated the combine to a tanker just the same as your massy great video , thanks
Brilliant video
The combine brilliant Brilliant can't beat older machinery yes definitely would like to father Phil cutting with the combine
Fantastic to hear the old Massey Harris come to life. They definitely don't make them like they used to!
YES please
Love to see it combining a few acres and bale the straw with a small square baler(massey baler of course) behind the 35👌
Does he have a small baler
Defently put the combine to work🤠
Great video Phil. Big clean up. ! Enjoyed watching. 👍🏼👍🏼
Love the number plate 😂
Great to see the Massey 780 running, I worked for a MF dealership in 60's/70's and there were still a lot of 780 combines in use. The Austin engines sound great when working. One of my favourite combines to work on.
The looks on your faces was priceless
That’s awesome to see that aul combine going so well.
Any interest in selling that fert spinner Phil? I’ve been looking for a similar one myself just something handy for at home!!!
What make is the old thrasher ....remember one like that comig to us in the 1950s .
That combine was amazing I wonder how many new combines will be running in 71 years. On your shed go as high as possible I built a shed in 04 made the steel frames and a friend of mine advised me to buy another length of rsj I cut the baseplates off and added about 1.2 meters on each pillar it’s 22 feet to the eve it doesn’t cost a lot to go a bit higher probably under €2000 at the time it was money well spent best of luck with your new build.
Father Phil doing what he does best getting old things going (dont tell mother Phil i said that)😂i meant the combine
Great
Great video as always father Phil has to cut a bit with the Massey Harris 👌
Yes would love to see father Phil combining with the old lady
Fader Phil has to cut at least the full of the tank with that combine
Well when FR. Phil got her moving it was the most dramatic sight I have seen on here the look on his face was priceless. Should he cut barley with it ? try stopping him ! Keep 'er Lit.
yes to cutting with the combine
Nice one Phil
Weather permitting get the Massey Harris out in the field, she'll never pay for herself sitting in the shed
Make sure to make allowances for the slab
Could yous not have just let the wheel pressure down enough to clear the roof.??😂❤
Great video. The Telly might have made a permanent adjustment to the newer shed if you put the forks to it… hardly as flexible as the other canopy? Keep up the good work.
Good stuff
Will she still cut
Go 25 ft you will be glad you did. And if you think 40 ft out go 50 you can never have a big enough space Now the time I know it’s easy talk but will be the best money you ever spend
Good video as always, really enjoyed the combine, can you tell me what replaced T V O ? Yes would love to see Father Phil cutting with the old combine
Hi is that a 415 Massey combine in the shed
Eah would b good to see the old combine cutting a bit
You should restore a combine harvester phill

Honestly lads, forget about the tractors! Yous need to get that combine in the workshop next! 😅
Sell the massy Harris pay for loads of stuff for you
Wouldn’t pay for much😂
Think you're overestimating the value
Sell it no matter what better in bank ,they keep stuff for sake of keeping stuff farm is a shit hole just hording crap clear it out make money on the scrap machines invest and move on no point farming on sentiment buisness is hard nowadays move on from the past and invest in the future
Well you’re a ball of positivity aren’t you?
Couldn't agree more@@penningtoncolin
They don't make them like they used to 😢
