44:50 Toontown of all games actually handles all attacks being "items" very well because restocking your entire inventory is something you do after pretty much every dungeon/boss, it basically makes your items like a loadout that you conserve to make it to the end of a dungeon but once your back in the hub you get back for essentially free.
My biggest problem with the gameplay of sticker star and origami king (and maybe color splash but I couldn’t finish it) is that the combat system never changes and evolves. The enemies feel the same, your attacks feel the same, and your solutions to them feel the same. Even in Super the enemies got more complex and involved as you went through the story. Your attacks get a bit stronger but the difference between a flashy hopslipper and a worn out normal jump feels like it’s just damage, the enemies will always end up either in a cube or a line, there’s just not a lot of decisions you can make with how you fight them.
I'm so glad you brought this up because this is one of my biggest criticisms with modern Paper Mario that I don't hear brought up enough during criticisms of the modern Paper Mario games. I actually feel like this issue got worse with each modern Paper Mario game too, it was already an issue in Sticker Star made even worse in Colour Splash and somehow even worse in Origami King. While Origami King is easily my favourite modern Paper Mario game, it was the worst offender when it came to this particular issue, it's a shame too because I feel like OK and CS both could have been the next best Paper Mario games after the first two if they weren't so held back by their lacking and shallow battle systems.
I live in france and it's really funny seeing so many products I am used to being explained like that (though there are some I had never heard of before). Also black blood sausages are amazing.
1:02:47 I don't really know about candy specifically but what I can say is that I used to work in a packaging factory for food products, and my job was to cut samples of our packages and send them out to the company's ordering them, and I found it quite curios how most of the time the "authentic" packages and the Walmart brand packages were both sent to the same company (for example dole brand fruit packages and Walmart brand fruit packages were both sent to dole)
6:10 About American food, our food tends to be saltier and stuff because us Americans apparently can’t handle regular food, and by this I mean same brands taste different depending on if you get it in America or elsewhere, thought I’d share that :D Also this vlog is so cozy and wholesome I love it, hope you all had a wonderful time
7:48 Local Belgian man enthusiastically tells fun facts about his beloved chocolates

theres definitely something surreal about hearing this conversation taking place in a car though compared to a discord call LOL.
You guys making shopping look like so much fun
So lovely to see y’all together and enjoying Belgium’s many wonders like… the shopping centre. :P
I still love the Kappy cutout. That being the first thing you saw was so hilarious.
even just the little facts on the items in the grocery store are fascinating, i love learning about other cultures like this so this is really cool :3
24:30 He is pacing around like a villain while Kappy gets angry about the blood sausage
41:02 Welp.

Lmao I couldn't finish color splash either. Was way too boring. Didn't even buy Origami King because of that.

LETS GOOOOOOO
13:22 unpopular opinion by kappy. Clearly it’s because kappy is salty enough as it is- he doesn’t need the extra salt

3:00 pretty confident it's still called speculoos in the Netherlands, but maybe we have the rip-off here
Is that a wooden cutout????
I noticed Kappy wearing a mask while shopping. Was this a personal choice or were Fatguy and Lenny just not obeying the rules and regulations lol
Personal choice LOL
@@Kappy0 Good for you man. Glad to see you guys had a good time!!!
Did you lean over the rest of the orange slices so the juices drip from your mouth into the rest!?!
41:02 lol
real
5:10 Is that the reason that the price tags have commas?
3,09 is just €3 and 9 cents. We use a comma instead of a period
Because that's what we use in Europe instead of the point used in North America, it means the same thing though. For example 2,99 = 2.99
I doubt a TTYD remake
Aged like milk
You’re welcome
