A thing that I just realized while listening to this: Why in the fuck didn't prepared-for-anything, even-one-percent-chance Batman have some kryptonite on hand for in case Superman came back wrong???
Okay Snyder... you are getting the unprecedented gift of not only a second chance, but a full year, $30 million, and most importantly, 20/20 hindsight. You had better not fuck the Director's Cut up.
Man of Steel and BvS were loud, bold farts that kinda stink but dammit they were proud of the fart and you can really appreciate the art and passion behind the thunderous release Zack Snyder unleashed upon the world while justice league is definitely a wet fart that could’ve had the same strong Snyder flavor but instead was condensed into a liquidy soupy mess of half-baked plot and characters by the bureaucratic bowels of the Hollywood filmmaking industry
I also got bamboozled by the lack of trivia. : / As for the movie, I seem to recall reading stories that the reason we got the rushed Whedon frankenstein version was only because the WB execs didn't want to properly fix the film and delay the release past the end of the year simply because they had to release it that year to get their year end bonuses. So they hired Whedon to try and do some last minute course corrections after BvS was a box office return disappointment and pooped out this movie. Greed won out over good art. Not to say Snyder's other 2 movies in this trilogy were good art, they weren't, but mostly because I don't think he understands traditional super heroes that aren't deconstructionist.
Say what you will about Man of Steel or Batman v Superman, at least they felt like one consistent vision, whereas this version of Justice League was just a Frankensteinian hodge-podge that was cobbled together by two very different, contrasting filmmakers, a collection of studio notes, and far too many cooks in the corporate kitchen. Easily the worst film in the DCEU.
batman superman is a worse movie, top to bottom. the vision is dumb. luthor is terrible and dumb. batman doesn't make sense, superman doesn't either, the doomsday thing is terrible - and if you somehow can't understand that, let me remind you that in snyder's dumbass vision, the justice league is discovered by LL and put in a folder on his computer???? snyder is garbage. he ruined the DCU
@@EtMeBuddy I think the whedon changes are less extreme and apparent than one might think; I think Snyder had a lot of studio interference from the jump. Like they said it's more a script vs studio made mess with Whedon jokes sprinkled in
I think people fake liking wonder woman, seriously i everyone enjoys the first half a lot but then it just falls down the hole with a big cgi grey man and rips off the first avenger.
@@TheClarity101 I never said theres a conspiracy, so do you love the horrible cgi ending of wonder woman? Or just pretend the trench scene is whole film. How many of these wonder women fans turned out to see her in JL cause most of them would have been oblivious to synder background drama
Everyone's opinion is valid. BUT ... BvS's logical inconsistencies, stupid motivations, Lex Luther (all of it) and Batman just straight up murdering people makes that movie way worse than this one. I mean, it's cool, but you may have a brain injury.
What logical inconsistencies and stupid motivations? "Lex Luther is bad" is not an objective fact about the movie, it's an opinion - much like this one: BvS (UE) is a great movie.
@@TG-bd7yd Batman committing to kill Superman BEFORE having the Knightmare is an example of this as it makes that whole scene redundant filler, as it has no impact on any of the characters or plot. It is the equivalent of that scene where Thor pisses off on a vision quest during AoU. Serves no purpose other than to show off something "cool" for 5 minutes which is ridiculous in a movie that is already 3 hours long....
Ah yes the extended version with all the “added” trivia
Where the duck is it?? I’ve looked everywhere
@@BudderTeeth doesnt exist read the imdb page
My goodness, that was so much trivia! Glad I watched this, the extended audio version.
Literally 😪 I watched this just for the trivia aswell
Superman in that picture looks like one of those 90s point and click mystery games where only their mouth moves
Like those Conan O'Brien skits with Arnold or whoever.
They should have taken a page from the Cesar Romero style book to solve that mustache situation.
Or Cesar Millan for real... Ya know what I'm say'n G 😉
Ma Kent losing the farm makes me think Clark was flying there every morning and doing the majority of the farm work.
Trivia starts at 29:30. There’s nothing new from the other video.
A thing that I just realized while listening to this: Why in the fuck didn't prepared-for-anything, even-one-percent-chance Batman have some kryptonite on hand for in case Superman came back wrong???
29:30 But this is the EXTENDED version
"I am Superman. I have come to Earth to fix the mouth surgery that my Kryptonian doctors botched."
Just watched it........it was simultaneously a lot better and a lot worse than I remember it being the first time I watched it.
You bastards. I like trivia
Where's the trivia?
@14:50 you said it all James
Hectic, keep it up lads!
That guy from Mindhunter should have 100% played Batou in Ghost in the Shell.

bro
You need to start some sort of "Rotten Farts" movie critic site. I am already pre-subscribed LOL..
They just dropped the new teaser for the new one!

The worst DCEU movie is Suicide Squad follow closelly by BvS. JL IS also pretty bad.

ciaran dodrill you’re literally making up most of this shit mate
I find Supermans suit very unsettling to look at it in this movie. I think it's the ridiculous muscle suit underneath.

Agreed. As weird as this movie looks it's not as boring as bvs where you got hours of nothing happening but "plot"
all movie batmen have killed tho

I think your donkey brain does not understand the difference between an adaptation and a film on it's own.
