I luv your Work, very inspirational for me, as I've been forced into a medical retirement and love woodworking. I enjoy watching the aspect of your channel from the getting and milling of the lumber to the final projects the lumber becomes.

There are so many techniques I pick up from your projects. I like this one because you don’t have to spend $600 on wood to get started.
I think your Highboy project is the best value in woodworking training. Even if I won’t ever make a piece of furniture that elaborate, I can still use the techniques on my other projects. Thanks, Matt!

Well done boxes, Matt. The locking mechanism was a great feature to add to the tea box as the tea, and I believe the spices, were always locked up in the past.

Wow your skill makes creating these boxes look deceptively easy. Love seeing you lay out and explain the cuttings. Also your attention to making grain match at the corners. I liked how the cherry box grain looked but the effect of the walnut grain at the corners is absolutely beautiful. As someone who experimented with cutting bottles as a kid I can attest to the being fully vested in the moment of truth of breaking the glass. Thank you for sharing.

Was it difficult to calculate the size of the interior boxes? I'm thinking it was a matter of material size of the box walls times 2 for each box and divide what was left of the overall length divided by however many boxes span the interior?
