- Manta ray night dive on the Big Island. HD taken with a Canon 5DmkII 15mm fisheye lens using a Kenko 1.4 teleconverter in a Sea & Sea housing with a dome port. Some noise due to ISO 800 setting.
I did this dive years ago and it was nothing short of surreal. The Mantas are like Cirque de Soleil above you. Their bellies graze the top of your head! I strongly recommend sharing this with people you are close to, its other - worldly! Thanks for the great footage.
One of the most magical experiences there is. Thank you for sharing.
Great Video! I'm about to do the Manta Night Dive and the Black Water Dive any tips on shooting this? What were your GoPro settings? Thanks!
This dive is a surreal experience, and this video captures it very nicely
Just did this trip two days ago and I am happy to report that the manta with the broken right fin rolling in the bubble stream on the left side of the video at around 28-36 seconds in is still there.
Thanks for posting such a great video. Did this dive last week. Just unreal. Reason enough to get certified.
Just did that dive last month. It's amazing! Thanks for the awesome video!
OMG Such Beautiful Creatures 😍
So beautiful...i love manta rays...
WOW, Gorgeous! What a beautiful camera setup too!
Fantastic
Did you use a red or yellow lens filter at all? I can't wait to go on this dive, and I want to make sure I get the best shot possible.
what is the best company to use to go snorkel with the manta at night?
Fabulous! We did the snorkel, as we're not divers. Loved the trip.
This is so beautiful...
So beautiful!!!
This looks awesome. Going to do this monday after monday night football at Kona Brewing. Any tips?
Amazing footage, could you tell me what your depth was?
haha new take on Bubble Bath !
AMAZING! thanks for sharing !?
Such a breathtaking dive.
which night dive location is this? Village, Heaven, or Wiakola?
What company did y'all use? Interested in doing it in a few weeks
Wonderful.Good effort the video is fantastic
this reminds me of Let it Go for some reason lol. Probably because of the blue lights everywhere
Well done!
Amazing!!! How much does it cost?
It's cheap around 100 dollars but if you bring up other places you can find good cheap deals definitely worth it
Amazing!!!!!
good times, don't touch ~~~
I did this last week in Kona. It was surreal. I saw 4.
Sweet Seconds hi can I ask how deep was it? do I have to be a dive master or advanced open water is fine to.see this?
@@bboyalanleung123 It's probably about 30 feet. You'll just be floating on top of the water. You can have a floater if you can't swim. No scuba cert needed.
Alan Leong just open water certification is needed , nothing special.
cpr
would like to use this video. how do i contact you.
Did it too! Going again may 2020.
awesome. 8 dummies actually clicked dislike
21*
did it in August of 2015 in kona
looks like 20 divers all shining bright lights on a few poor mantas.. they look pretty disturbed and stressed. Like many things in nature, they should be left alone and not disturbed by 20+ divers every night. Sad to see
They could leave if they wanted to. The lights attract fish, and the Mantas basically just get a free easy meal.
They are feeding not stressed. Light brings the plankton.
