      Iff the pain would stay away that would be great, if or when my pelvis would be in the best direction to help heal my aching back

    Do you think these exercises will help for tailbone pain or I should look for other ones

      It depends what it’s from. If it’s from injury, rest and possibly ice would be best, in addition to seeing the doctor.

      I came across your video today. This is wonderful. I found the reminders to breathe & sense body so very helpful. My hips & low back feel more open & I notice less tension. Trying to be kinder about what I ask my body to do. Thank you! Joanne

    Why does this cause a flare up in my spinal arthritis ?

      Hi Tam, sometimes when you are easing into new movement, it can be too much too fast. Plus, each individual may need adaptations specifically for them, which is why I often work 1:1 with students ( www.annswansonwellness.com/yoga-therapy Also,I have many other more gently practices on the channel to ease you into movement, including shorter practices and chair yoga. I’d start with this yoga nidra for pain relief (ua-cam.com/video/1NcXFB8lQmo/v-deo.html) and then work towards one of these: Bed yoga: ua-cam.com/video/dXGIy7opPrw/v-deo.html Legs up the wall ua-cam.com/video/5ReQOrZla3A/v-deo.html. Chair yoga for low back: ua-cam.com/video/D673YjHwXG4/v-deo.html Or even tai chi, and this routine was specifically developed for arthritis: ua-cam.com/video/XHpljSUzwog/v-deo.html. So start off with shorter, gentle practices to build your tolerance. And for any specific advice, consider coming to one of my live group classes or 1:1 yoga therapy.
