It depends what it’s from. If it’s from injury, rest and possibly ice would be best, in addition to seeing the doctor.

I came across your video today. This is wonderful. I found the reminders to breathe & sense body so very helpful. My hips & low back feel more open & I notice less tension. Trying to be kinder about what I ask my body to do. Thank you! Joanne

Why does this cause a flare up in my spinal arthritis ?
Hi Tam, sometimes when you are easing into new movement, it can be too much too fast. Plus, each individual may need adaptations specifically for them, which is why I often work 1:1 with students ( www.annswansonwellness.com/yoga-therapy Also,I have many other more gently practices on the channel to ease you into movement, including shorter practices and chair yoga.
