Interesting burn pattern. That little tail looks like some kind of astigmatism in the optics. Great video, I just discovered it. Interesting how all these systems pretty much look the same inside. Now I need to watch the rest of your videos.
Be careful, if the googles work by absorbing the laser they could saturate from the beginning of the pulse and pass the remainder of the pulse. But the capacitor isn't very big, so you're probably fine.
Perfect look with the glasses ;), this explains the charging of the capacitor, was previously confused how it would get its charge

Ferranti deactivation of old military laser saying, "nobody will get past that". Le Labo de Michel says, "hold my beer" ;) Remarkable, thank you.
Хорошая мастерская много приборов.
Cool, you made one of these laser rust removers :)

I can't help but hear Peter Sellers speak.
You are getting some stiff Q switched pulses from it. Try putting a KTP crystal in fromt of it and using the green light to make holograms. ❤

Hi, impressive, yes you may use it to clean some parts...
That would make for one hell of a tatoo remover
Who needs an epidermis, anyway?
Or a dermis, for that matter?
I see you went for no cooling. Will it not damage the rod? Or will it be fine for this short operation?
I fired the laser a few times with a cooling time between each fire. The laser still works.
Bravo!
Nice glasses :)
I thought hecwas going to blow whole in wall not go to 10 yrs electric collage for ten yrs in sec.lol
