technically, one should not have a "favorite" move...the favorite move should always be what is open at any given time.
@@mummra7 no thats the most convenient, having a favorite move is a whole other concept
this move shows that the winner will be the one who can think the fastest, as it seems that a good counter would be as the executor is off both his feet, the defender drops down to his knees negating the sweep and ending up in side control, or thereabouts.

I was taught a variation of this as a counter to someone grabbing your kicking leg during a roundhouse kick before I even started BJJ, interesting.

Is this legal for white belts in IBJJF? Couldn't find anything like it so assume it is
No I'm pretty sure white belts can't doing flying moves which this would be considered
A lot of these moves are already considered better. The issue is people restricting these moves just because some weak peice of shit gets hurt and decides to go cry home to mommy.
