There's a lot to learn in his statement about people returning tickets to games of this team ge claims to be on. The internal logic of the statement produces a contradiction that makes the statement impossible.
Ge says people are returning tickets because they think he's a monstrous liar. But in order for them to react this way, they would have to know he is on the team, or else they would have no reason for that reaction. But, if they know he's on the team, they would have to know she is being dishonest....so why return tickets over this?
Even if we ignore that, if the team's owner was actually concerned with how thus is impacting his business, he has a very urgent motive to get proof he is on the team out to the public asap, so the interal logic is contradictory as well. And then that leads back to why would people be returning tickets if they knew he was on the team?

The first inconsistency you brilliantly pointed out is also a combination of two inconsistencies that work on their own as well .
Inconsistency 1) if they believe her enough to want to sabotage anyone he’s affiliated with then they believe he never played football. Why would they return tickets?
Inconsistency 2) for them to know which league or team to return tickets to they would have to find the team or league he played for, which is evidence that she was lying and makes the returning of tickets unecessary.
None of it makes sense. He’s saying that people believe her and don’t believe her at the same time.

This 💯. Imho, she was honestly not antagonistic towards him. She was telling her truth. Whereas Legion on the other hand spent an inordinate amount of time trying to attack, degrade and discredit her as a person. He literally provided no real evidence to make himself look credible.

As someone who married a pathological liar and narcissist when I was barely an adult and stayed in that marriage for nearly a decade - I binge watched her entire series over the course of two days. I kept nodding my head and connecting with things she said because there are aspects of her story that I lived through as well. And she uses certain language and her choice of words, in my very personal opinion, are something only a victim of this kind of manipulation would know to say or think to say. It's not something you can fake well imo. You have to have lived it. I believe her with all my heart.
I went through the very same thing. And I knew from the "wow, where have you been?"
Plus, who would lie about all this, anyway? That'd be so effed up. It'd be unheard of. On the contrary, a man lying about literally everything like she says Legion did has happened to more women than I can count. Several of them have been exposed on the "Something Was Wrong" podcast.

Totally agree. I lived with a man for 4-1/2 years that did the same thing as Legion did, before I was finally able to get away from him. I don't know if Legion was physically abusive as my ex was, but the emotional and mental abuse was all there.
This 👆🏼 I have family members who are narcissists and pathological liars and everything she would say with the lie about the lie about the lie reminded me why I don’t contact these family members.

According to Reesa, he doesn’t talk to his family members because of his lies and his family members don’t speak to him. No one not even a family member has come out to defend him but it’s been the opposite for her. He seems like a despicable human who isn’t willing to change and believes his own lies.

You know I was thinking about this .She may be real. if you notice in the back ground there's a ton of keys. I think he's living in some kind of group home or rehab. Or in a home with a lot of roommates? It gave shelter or group home.

He is not necessarily a danger to society. He was able to lie to her first because he's a liar but also because she was desperate, insecure and wanted to believe his lies. She didn't initially fact check who he was or anything he said before allowing him to move into her home. She's educated but never tried verifying this guy until the end. She didn't want to know the truth. She wanted the fantasy life he was selling her.

My sister was engaged to a man like this. Lied about EVERYTHING. Where he was from, his age, his education, that he was a doctor, what his family did, siblings, everything. Was so frightening when we found out.
I’m so sorry you all went through that. I hope “engaged” is past tense and you all have healed from this. My life has been utterly changed because of more than one person like this. One of my sisters is like this. Frightening is a good starting word…

💯 The same thing ALMOST happened to me. Just in time, I found out about an ex who lied about almost everything he told me about, including his relationship history and employment history, was a lie. He even lied to me about his father dying months after I broke up with him to try to weasel his way back in my life. A true nutcase.

She is a magnetic speaker. I speeded it up so I didn't spend all that time but I also watched the whole thing!
It is so important for women to trust their Intuition. So glad her story is being heard. She will help a lot of women.
And hopefully some men as well. No matter a person's gender they shouldn't ignore their gut and the red flags. Her story may help a lot of people. It would be hard and embarrassing to talk about, but I believe she really wants people to not make the same mistake she did.

What are some ways to 'fact check' someone when on dating sites???
To me, when she saw him and was matched with him on two different dating sights with two different names was a red flag from the beginning.
One was a nickname of his first name. That is not unusual
Yeah she basically says the same, around 4:01.
But then she was also on both dating apps, right? So it is the same for her.
@@CuriousESno because her name was the same on both apps. His was two different names. However one name was like a nick name or shorten version of his real name so that wouldn’t have been a red flag for me either.

Reesa Teesa deserves all of the flowers! The fact that she has entertained, educated and was vulnerable with us in order to help just one person - but has literally a story that has resonated with so many women (including me) - is nothing short of amazing and humbling. The fact that Legion/Jerome made her be alone during the time where she was going into surgery to remove a still-born baby that was his child too - is absolutely disgusting of him. I pray her future days are greater than any of her past.

I noticed that she has consistently told the story by including what happened and mistakes she made that contributed to the story. In his interview he remarks several times about how he did certain actions because he was helping or going above and beyond to be a good guy.
Greta catch. She’s often reflecting about where she went wrong. Why isn’t he reflecting on where he went wrong to end up with a woman who, according to him, would make up such horrible lies about a person? His entire demeanour and position make very little sense.

What I thought I saw in her was terrible pain & sadness over losing the baby. Also incredulity, as if to say "how could I be so dumb?" As well as embarrassment that she had believed him.

That was the most painful part for me. I was raised by my mom and she lied like this and burned through men using them for whatever they had until eventually she couldnt rely on her looks and she died alone. She was so narcisstic and abusive it was unreal. Literally, I did not live in reality growing up. She had me convinced that I was crazy my entire childhood and that things I thought I had experienced had in fact made up in my "overly active imagination." As she called it. But a part of me knew and always kept this awareness that was out of body... I would watch the entire situation with myself in the middle of it unfold like it was a comedy as I called how she was going to act/react and how other people were going to be suckered in by her charisma, lies and incredibly huge balls. She blustered her way all through. She didnt have any regard for her kids because money and security were more important than our safety or happiness. She would say "she did what she had to do" and "she did what she was taught" later as an excuse when confronted about it. She never admitted she did something wrong. This woman had me in 13 different schools in 7th grade and abandoned all of us for an entire summer to different friends houses that she told us would just be a weekend sleepover. Granted, it was to get away from her third husband that used to beat the shit out of all of us... but still... we didnt have any way to reach her and when she did show back up it was to sneak us on an airplane in the middle of the night to Valdez, AK. It was crazy. We were exposed to child m*****ers, drug dealers, addicts, criminals, so much violence and unpredictability. Our mom was a drug addict, at one point a sex worker and always... always it was about money. We never had it. She would do anything to get it. And when she did have it she blew it on drugs and clothes for herself.
I challenged her about her lies when I was 15 and she brought me to a psychiatrist who believed -her- and not me and fast forward I was misdiagnosed as bipolar. I wasnt. I had complex PTSD but that wasnt really understood very well in the 90s. I was forced to take medication I didnt need that ended up driving me deeply into depression and multiple attempts on my own life. When I was able to move out... on my own... I pushed her out of my life because I couldnt trust her. I warned everyone... every step dad, every boyfriend, every dude she was stringing along.. I warned them but they never listened until it was too late and to this day I still get calls or messages of people crying because they suddenly woke up to the reality of who she was and how she ruined their lives. The last 20 years I just washed my hands of it and stopped intervening. I would just say you need to watch her closely and always question and verify. Thats the best advice I had without bringing up examples and retriggering myself repeatedly. It just wasnt worth it when everyone ignored me anyway. So yeah, when I moved out I had to rebuild my entire personality from scratch. I had to figure out who my dad and his family where by my own time and research. It took me 43 years. I had to reconstruct my moms childhood and who my grandparents were by literally tracking the people down and getting various accounts. I was always at the library hunting through records. Thank god its mostly online these days. Ancestry sure changed my life.
Anyway... I -felt- that line. And not knowing anything about this case up until 14 minutes ago I am gonna say I believe this woman's story. I talk about my mom and I use the same gestures. I experience shame foremost because I am not stupid and I knew and should have seen a lot of it coming but man did my mom pull some stunts on me over the years. She stole so much money and things from me. If you love someone you let them get away with so much... even when you see whats really happening. So thats my gut. I believe her and I feel so sorry that she had to go through whatever this dude put her through.
The biggest lie my mom got me to believe is early on she told me that my biological father had SA'd her. I believed that from 5 years old. She was 16 when she had me so she told me my entire life that I was the one that ruined her life. My entire existence made her suffer. I felt guilty all the time. I felt guilty for things I didnt even do. Guilt was my base operating platform growing up and she knew that and used it on me. Its like she programmed my mind. I had to unlearn all of that in 20 years and counting of therapy. But.. come to find out it wasnt even true. Everything I ever knew about my life, my self, my extended family... all of it was bs. I thought for years that even her love for me had to have been a lie because who could do that to their child? But... now I know she did care about me in her own twisted way, its just not the way other human beings do.
What a difficult life you led! I hope things are better for you now.

There is nothing as real to someone as a certain shared experience. What resonates to me is how cruel people are to use your own love for them to their advantage.
Reesa recently talked to his older brother ,he told her legion is diagnosed bipolar and Schizophrenic. He stopped taking meds when he was younger.
Makes total sense. He seems OFF.
I knew he had to have some sort of mental health issues if his family also did not want anything to do with him. Unfortunately mental health is a disability which is difficult to see compared to physical disabilities. I work with children with mental health issues and the lying is very common. The problem is society treats them same like everyone and forget that they have a mental health condition. He will never take accountability for his actions as he will always see the world differently from the way most people see it. I actually feel sorry for him because he needs to be on medication all his life and be supported by his family to get help but I understand that families have had to deal with this for so long and they get burnt-out so he will just try to live life the best that he can. I live in the UK and someone like this will be diagnosed and most likely have a social worker that checks in with him from time to time.
Neither diagnosis makes you a Lier or a deceiver of others. It can make you delusional and typically those delusions are very easily identified i.e. "The president came to my room last night." Or the delusions are absurb or even magical. This guy isn't mentally ill, he's a Master Deceptor. A Snake.

Tareasa displays the emotions I would expect to accompany her account, and the emotions seem genuine to me. Jerome on the other hand is full of chaff and redirect without displaying any of the anger and/or indignation you would expect of someone who is a victim of false claims and/or character assassination. I believe her and resent the amount of time I would have to waste to listen to his full story!
The miscarriage was a blessing in disguise. Imagine that monster having another kid .. who may well end up just as horrid as he himself. I am glad she is on the road to recovery from the emotional damage his lies and manipulation inflicted and is divorced from him now.
He doesn’t have any biological children. You said imagine him having another chid as if he already had one. Thankfully all the women he’s been with have avoided having his child.

The whole thing about verifying where he went to school, not being able to verify -- that makes no sense. San Diego State is a public university, so his attendance there is a matter of public record. Plus, most people _want_ others to be able to verify that they attended. That's how you get a job that requires a college education, which is why most people go to college. No one would attend a university that refused to verify that a student went there.
And the arena league, even if the owner was refusing to verify that he was on the team, the league itself would have a record of it, and if they were being protective they could simply verify that he was on a team without verifying which one. And since he indicates the league is still active, it shouldn't be difficult for a professional to track down that information.
Absolutely! 💯. Not to mention he flat out said they don’t share student information unless you’re alumni. Great! He’s alumni right? Why doesn’t he give them a call and get the information and bring it to the interview and shut her “lies” down?
And most athletes publish clips and stats on the school's website, if they aspire to greater things. School newsletters would publish game results and name top players, etc

Right! I have 4 close friends that attended SDSU… He is full of it. I also have 2 ex’s who played 1 in arena the other in the NFL. Both have public stats recorded and write-ups. Not to mention even local high school stats or write- ups published and very easily searchable via name in google. Especially when you played at any pro level.

Sadly, I have an adult son like this. I didn't raise him this way. He was a natural born liar. It breaks my heart. He hasn't been able to maintain a single successful relationship...ever.

I believe her. I don’t believe a thing that comes out of his mouth. His answers amounted to word salad and didn’t really answer anything. Just left me with more questions. How awful it must’ve been for her to realize what this man actually was. Having to go through the trauma of a miscarriage with him pretending to be his own assistant. He’s sick! Hopefully every woman will see her documentary and his interview and stay far far away from him.

Re: word salad: Reesa disclosed towards the end that she was told her was diagnosed with bipolar and schizophrenia. I think it probably should have been or rather than and. Anyway, both may have psychotic features, poor reality testing, paranoia (his defensiveness), difficulty staying on topic, linear thinking and speaking . . . all of which can indeed result in word salad. I feel awful for what she went through and it seems like he's able to come across as high functioning for a period of time, but my sense is this is a very sick man who could behave better if he received (accepted?) the proper treatment. Reese stated he refused the meds that were prescribed.

I met a guy on Match who lied about absolutely everything. I was almost a ReesaTeesa story 😢 Luckily I had been divorced from a User and my healing made it possible for me to walk away without looking back or questioning myself. I’m praying for her peace.
An experienced liar always mixes in parts of truth to build their story. When I was young, I had a boyfriend whose sister called him, just to say hi, while we were driving to lunch. He had no plans or prior commitments with her, he wasn't supposed to be doing anything else and for absolutely no reason at all, he lied about where he was going. After the call, I asked why he lied to her. He genuinely didn't understand the question, because it was just such a natural thing for him to do, and he said, "no reason." Not long after, I had my hand on a piece of equipment that came slamming down, crushed the fleshy part of my finger and it was excruciatingly painful. He laughed and was genuinely delighted. I knew then that he was a psycho and said so. There are ALWAYS signs. Watch for them.

@@TheBehavioralArts Having someone explain - clearly and concisely - what all those mysterious shifts on people's faces mean is like living in the darkness and then having the lights turned on. I have spent my life trying to understand the things that most people take for granted. Is that a pained smile? A happy one? I can't tell. You have given me a whole box full of tools I can use to navigate the world and make friends and smooth human interactions. Think about being deaf and then suddenly being able to hear. That's what you're doing for us all. Human faces have been this complex mystery to me for so long and I am finally able to see some of what I've been missing out on. Thank you.
@@eshbena 100% agree with you, I have Autism & ADHD, one of the things that's hardest is trying to understand if someone is mad at me, upset, if they are actually happy or fake happy and if I've said something I shouldn't because its really hard to lie. Spidey's videos have been really helpful in trying to walk through those land mines and respond better while giving a caveat of "Hey, just to let you know, I cannot understand social cues or facial expressions, please let me know if I've done or said something wrong."
I lived with a man just like this for 6 years. Spidey, you sum it up perfectly when you say we aren’t looking for the truth vs. The lie, we are looking for an absolute monster here.

I watched all the parts and then watched the stepson and one ex wife. Such a wild series of events. I wish her well in life. I hope everyone who was tricked by Legion is doing better and healing.
I binge watched her story. I related so much to it since i had also had a very similar situation with a man i met and married very quickly.
I cannot even being to think of the strength it took to put her story out there..since people's judgments can be so harsh. After going through a situation like that, and you realize the very obvious mistakes you have made, its difficult not to be mean or hard on yourself let alone share your mistakes with others. I believe her and feel terribly sorry she found herself in that situation. I truly hope she finds a genuine man that she feels safe and loved by.
As soon as you played his clip I just kept hearing you saying, “truth tellers tell, liars sell” … his responses were very much “selling” so it was hard to not be biased on him from the start. Really loved the #1 tip though so I did try to go back and view it that way, but it was hard to “prove it” with viewing it as, “he is truth-telling. 😬 I would be shocked if he came out with evidence.

I agree. If she’s being deceptive then she got me too. When he spoke he “butterflied” around questions with what I perceived as non answers. (All too familiar with that tactic…)
I can totally relate to the revelation she had about not knowing what truth there actually was in their relationship. After leaving a relationship myself it was more logical for me to assume the entire five years were likely all a lie than to spend mental and emotional energy picking through the debris to figure out which could have been potential truths.

And it blows my mind how many little things you always catch and how objective you get with every subject. And on top of that, it's like in every video you give a new piece of information on how to solve a particular behavioral puzzle. I really hope that someday you will put out some online course or a book or anything of the sorts because you really have something special to share, and you do it already week after week in this way and I am so glad to be following this channel and learning so many useful things from you.

It's rare to find an expert in anything who is an expert to this extent. I love being able to trust that he will know the answer- and being able to trust his answers :)
And this is why I dislike the body language analysis field coming to UA-cam. People fail to realize there are exceptions to the rule & the stuff has some pseudo science to it. It’s similarly dangerous to me as being a criminal profiler. If you put the age, race, background etc of a criminal into a box when investigating what happens when you meet a serial killer who is an outlier? More people die because of this tool being used as if it is 100% reliable & I think both studies often bring more issue to the table than help. When it works that’s cool but what about when someone who hasn’t put the time in tries to make it work & it ends up costing people dearly? There’s a balance & I feel not enough of the people in these fields make it a point to say this because they don’t want the pseudo science label.
Meanwhile today I see a scientist for the Colorado equivalent of the FBI manipulated her dna test results…
These tools in the wrong hands are no different than a gun in the wrong hands and we have to be careful. I’m 100% sure there are cases of people in jail right now all over the world due to faulty or manipulated data & in 2024 law enforcement can do a lot but they cannot give back the time they cost people when they’re wrong & unfortunately there isn’t enough energy put into peer reviewing, or checking people’s work in many many cases. If the FBI & affiliates can make mistakes why can’t little podunk towns across the world?

I watched all 50 episodes and admire Reese Teesa for her bravery & courage to tell her story. It's healing for people to talk about their painful experiences. I found her truthful & relatable and one reason why is because I could feel her heartache throughout the telling of her story. Also, she shared & admitted things many women would be to ashamed to admit- like getting pregnant. It's very believable that her intent is to help other women because she certainly was not making herself "look good" (for lack of a better term).
She is definitely helping other people. My ex was a pathological monster as well. And the things he lied about was so odd...well that is what made it so difficult. Because these are things other people would never consider lying about. Like when she said that he told her that his stepdaughter died, that one really hit home for me because my ex had a picture of a kid in his bedroom. I asked him who was the kid in the picture. He told me without the slightest hesitation that it was a cousin that died of cancer. Having lost family from cancer, I told him I was sorry about that and never really mentioned anything about it again. Found out years later from his sister that they never had a cousin that died of cancer and that the picture was of him when he was a kid. For someone to look you straight in the face, lie like that and let you believe that lie for years...that is 100% a monster. And there is always a part of you that when you share stuff like that, you know others won't believe you cause if it didn't happen to you, you couldn't even imagine someone lying about something like that. But monsters do exist and I definitely find her sharing her story very helpful in reminding me that I wasn't alone.

Calling him Legion still tickles me 😂 I watch a lot of horror films. And if she's lying then there are 2 other women lying as well. He has 2 other exes that have come forward with similiar stories.

She sounds like she's working through serious trauma. He sounds like a toddler banging pots together so he can pretend not to hear his mom. I hope she gets some healing, and he gets some consequences.

Especially the fact, that he would just have to show one piece of evidence to proof his honesty and the fact that its simply illogical that the school would prevent evidence from coming out so that "tickets wouldnt be returned anymore" really brought it home for me!
I did believe her when watching the 51 tiktoks yesterday - sure, could be that there are a few details left out/not 100% accurate, but she really seemed genuine to me! As a very detailed story teller myself, no alarm bells went off while listening to her story! Also I didnt really get the feeling that she did it for fame or anything, she was really "in the moment" while recording the videos, no matter if she was in the car driving or at home without any make up on! I tried looking out for inconsistencies in her story while she was telling it and couldnt find any (big) ones (since I'm not a native english speaker it might be different for natives) and I felt like she was always talking fluently and even with 20 tiktoks inbetween at times jumped back and forth on topics and remembered everything very easily..didnt give off the vibe that she has to really try to remember certain details!
This interview really strenghtened my opinion: She was calm and didnt show much deflection - he gave non answers and tried to flood us with random information to give off the impression that he knows his way around those topics...without any of it really being relevant🚩🚩🚩!

I would also add that he’s not in any way mad at her in his interview. He’s just babbling on about his life. And of course not everyone thinks or reacts the same but I would expect someone who was made to be such a horrible liar to be a little more on the offense than defence. Especially when is defence is really really weak.

I mean he was helping her make payments so somewhere beneath all the bs there was some sort of intention. But I cannot see past pretending to be an assistant to not go to the hospital. That to me is just unacceptable
I can attest to this woman’s pain because I to was married to a man that manipulated me into a marriage that was a complete lie and it cost me my family’s trust and financial burden. Thank you for sharing your story

Great analysis! Something else to consider when Reesa Tessa closes her hands when she says “I believe what I saw.” Could be her is gestured from the experience holding the pre-qualifying loan letter. To me it looks as if she is holding the letter in her hand, she had this physical piece of paper that says Legion was pre-qualified for the loan.
He is a FOOL. Even HIS interviewer is like “this fool lying 🙄 “….schools are private?? And provide no records? PLEASE! What school?! TELL US! He’s not SANE, cannot BE.
He's been diagnosed with bipolar and schizophrenia according to his brother. He has refused treatment and is not med compliant.
I'd bet that many of us throughout our lives, have come across someone like "legion". For whatever reasons, we put our faith and trust in that person. Eventually, their truths come out and we feel the worst of betrayal. We doubt our own judgement, blame ourselves for not seeing the truth sooner. Thats not a good place to believe. We have to realize there are people out there that are SO good at deception and forgive ourselves for the choices that we make in life that cause us trauma from a "partner" because it has nothing to do with us, but everything to do with them.
One thing that immediately stuck out to me when he started speaking, before your comment about him talking about random things for several minutes, was exactly that. The interviewer asked "why couldn't they find any records of you attending this school?" And his answer started fine (I'm unsure of the body language part) with his explanation of why the school doesn't give out student records. But then he continued. It should've stopped when he said "someone was killed and now they changed the policy to be way more strict." End. But instead, he repeated himself, then went on to talk about the school focusing on your learning and then something about sports, and then he mentioned a few people. Like what???
Counter that with Teesa, who is very concise. Very answer-driven. She answers the question, and that's that. She doesn't need to add fluff, she doesn't need to distract from a weak answer.

Also he's mentally ill and can't really stay on top of a linear narrative. I see loose associations and tangential thinking, such as when he's asked about SDSU and goes into his arena football coach. In his mind they're linked, but that wasn't the question. He's also used to being viewed as an unreliable narrator and has a naturally defensive style that includes talking too much in an attempt to smother someone's doubts. It doesn't work tho ;)

I'm really glad you decided to do this. I saw snippets of his interview earlier this week and just fished her entire series today while cleaning 😊 I must say, I wall walked away from both feeling very differently. I felt very confused and unsettled with his and very heartbroken with hers. I'm glad you mentioned the emotional impact.
That dude has a bullshit answer for everything. No wonder she fell for it. Someone on an opposing team would have come out and said, " yeah he played he sucks, we beat his ass."
She has helped many, I was conned in a similar way and the lies went so deep I couldn't even give the energy to explain what was said/done or why I believed it and I didn't have needed support around me to change my circumstances. The circumstances she described are a form of severe mental abuse. Also, "Legion's" exwife, his ex girlfriend's son, and others have come forward and verified what she has shared. I'm amazed that she had the energy and recall to tell her story...now imagine if she had been with him for more than one month how many loops, curves and turns, dead ends and you turns .....God bless her for all she has shared.
Well if she herself is being untruthful, then I will feel sick to my stomach. This means that I don’t and I have never known anything or anyone in my life. I have watched her 50 part series on UA-cam, her 2 interviews, and also his 1 asinine interview, and I unequivocally believe her side of the story 100%!! Never heard a word about this lady or this relationship before this vid. Before you say a word about his response to SD State not giving out info - he's 'lying.' They didn't change their policy in 2003, that's so specific to try & seem real, but they didn't give out info before that, nor did he magically remember all that detail now from 2003. He's giving way to much info. Just show some photos of you there! Oh brilliant - the guy asks him for picture, then it just gets worse!! OMG, even cousins and children are effected, wow, wow, wow, LOL! Even fans are returning tickets because of "her!" I love the expression on the guy interviewing him 34:38 It totally says "BS!" Here comes the noble statement "I'm not going to stop another football player from eating. LOL!! Just Priceless.
I have only recently heard about her story but I believe her. I absolutely love how fair you are on this channel though. You weigh both sides better than anyone else I have seen on UA-cam. That’s one of the reasons I love your analysis so much.
I would question her story except at least 4 other women have come out to tell almost the same stories.
What I liked abut the Legion interview is the host allowed him to speak and snitched on himself. I also noticed in the body language of the host biting his lip and trying not to laugh. I can tell he knew he was lying his keister off. Legion body language indicates to me that his eyes were rolling around all over the place dodging the question and grasping at straws and even saying umm all the time too. Reesa Teesa was confident and had eye contact telling the story and she even admitted to her her faults and where she herself messed up. 🤩

My uncle is just like this man. How do I know? He has 10+ children; my mom (his older sister) has been hunted down by many women who eventually show up at her place of work with a baby from him. When she sits down & hears what they have to say, the stories they share with her are completely out of this world. Currently he's married (apparently) to a girl who is 20+ years his junior - she's around my age & she's sooooooo naive.

Yeah he says “honestly” a LOT! I think it even goes beyond a perception qualifiers and it’s almost a filler word to buy time, like fluff. Even in this clip when he says “we went there to eat honestly” what a useless place to have that. So it’s his baseline but I think it’s a filler word, no different when “ummmm” 😊

I watched her whole series, going in knowing nothing and neutral, what got me with her is that she admitted her own BS and things she said resonated deeply with me as someone who have had very manipulative people in my life. It also felt to me like she wasn't trying to show him as a monster and talk only about his bad points, she used names of places and gave us important information such as the fact that she worked for the Georgia Sheriff Department I believe, if she was lying that's an easy one to figure out.
With him...I really tried to put myself in his shoes and believe him but he comes off as deceptive and angry, when he was talk about how he can't show proof because it's costing tickets and there was a shooting in 2003 at the school, it felt as if he was trying to remember the script but also...how is it that the people wanting a refund on their ticket know its you on X team...wouldn't that prove that she's a liar and make her look like a monster? Make it make sense because the math isn't mathing.

I think a video of her or about her was suggested in my feed but I hate videos of youtubers venting their divorce/separation stories, Im sorry for them but also feel like they are breaking the privacy of the ex and its only one side of the story. But i was very surprised about her interview how honest she came across but what truly made it real for me was the little clip of his interview, like owners of teams were able to identify him and call him to make him “sign” documents preventing he telling about the team. Like for real, he thinks he is that important? But his worry is not for him but for the current athletes (so selfless). And why would people boicot a team he wouldn’t play anymore and if he did indeed played then it’s her she is lying so more reason for the team to want to make that obvious. Makes no sense. At the end Im glad she shared, to warn other people to be more careful (so maybe there is some good to the youtubers sharing their stories)
Watching him talk in circles reminded me of Amber, giving irrelivamt details that have nothing to do with what they were asked.
Also, I know someone who's ex completely molded themselve to be the ideal person. And after 10 years, fell for someone else, obsessed over them, and melded who they were for that person too. And watching that happen was very painful.

I was once involved briefly with a narcissist I worked with but he was a pathological liar and cheater so it didn’t last long. He had a “girlfriend” I found out in the process, who was almost 30 years older than him and was paying his bills. He was a fitness instructor and very attractive. She looked like a grandmother next to him. But she was so narcissistic and she just liked having this hot young man. He was so narcissistic that he thought all his lies were the truth. They were like the couple from hell but such an unhinged force of nature.
Sometimes that pairing can work. It works because each side is very intent on looking out for number one. So when they are in sync, they each feel happy and fulfilled, because they are doing that for themselves, but they are also accidentally in agreement with each other, just for their own separate reasons. And when they are OUT of sync, it’s going to be a nightmare, because neither one can take responsibility for their own stuff, and they will be pointing fingers at each other.
The eyes are a part of our brains, so one reason why we eye block is to refresh our memory (wipe the chalkboard clean) & also to focus. I eye-block a lot, at different times, so much so that my husband pointed it out. I do it to gather my thoughts and when I’m thinking hard about how to communicate something in a more effective way.
As someone with Autism & ADHD, I do too.
