I have a 92 club wagon that I may need to do that to. No way do I want to drop a tank that's 3/4 full of gas, and next to impossible to siphon out. Thank you so much for going to all the trouble to make this video!

I've got a 97 e-150 the center of my fuel pump was nine inches from the center line. I cut the ten by ten hole and missed the edge of the fuel pump. Had to cut an additional two inches towards the center in order to access the fuel pump bolts. Thanks for the video. I was dreading dropping the fuel tank since it was 3/4 full. Worked great. I'll be making a plate to screw over for cover. I'm thinking of doing the same thing in the bed of my pickup

Good to know there is an alternative way. I prefer your way. Thanks.

As a safety item , place duct tape around the metal edges of your flooring when removing your fuel lines, you won't need as many Band-Aids, nice video, I thought you would seal the flooring with some type of sealant to keep fumes out of the passenger compartment

I never would have thought of cutting threw the floor! Honestly not a bad idea and if it ever goes bad for whatever reason, easy access

Thanks for the video. I watched it while waiting in a tow truck on I-10. My Uhual box truck has a nice access door right above the fuel pump. It had rivets so I just had to pry the thing off. These used uhauls are great. They have thought of everything!

It's April 2020 and I'm doing the same with my van. I had just filled up before the pump went kaput. I didn't feel like pumping out 36 gallons of gas and dropping the tank.

The Ford's engineers must do that service hole in the floor for this kind of job!

I sure love having my fuel pump bolted onto the front of the engine.
