Everyone did. I'm a vikings fan and even I said it's a throw away season, unless Darnold suddenly transformers into a gunslinger like Brett Farve or something.
@@kuruptqb12Sam was always a gunslinger…he’s aggressive and takes risks. Always has been, even in high school and college. And he needs a little bit of that recklessness. No fear on the field.
Best thing to have happened to Darnold and the team was for JJ to sit out. This resulted in no qb controversy, looking over your shoulder or prematurely throwing the kid in.
Sam’s beaten the Lions on the road his very first game in the NFL on the Jets and in 2022 when he was on the Panthers (but that was at home). He wasn’t on a team anywhere close to how talented and well-coached the Vikings are. The Lions needed a perfect drive and a last-second FG to beat the Vikings earlier this season and the defense gave up four touchdowns in that game.
Somebody needs to make a video of all the "experts" running down and picking against the Vikings who are now kissing the Vikings asses saying they knew how good the Vikes were all along
If they dont win it all this year then he needs to resign for a little less and go for immortality, being the 1st vikings qb to win a superbowl. Hes in the right system right now. If he goes somewhere else and plays like he did before all the ghost will come back. Sure he'll get paid, but thats all hes gonna get.
When was this ever supposed to be JJ mcarthys season? It was clear from day one that Mcarthy was going to sit behind Darnold this season.
No it wasn’t Jj was gonna be the starter bro
@@savagebeastjohnson1042No he wasn’t. They signed Sam before McCarthy was even drafted, and Sam was always going to start.
Sam Darnold was always going to start the season regardless of JJ Mcarthy getting injured.
Dan is speaking bs. The whole nfl didn’t give the Vikings or Sam Darnold a chance.

This is going to be the biggest Vikes Lions game in my lifetime

Sign Darnold to a 2 year 90 million contract full guaranteed sit the rookie let Darnold cook 🤷🏿♂️
Vikings are too good they have too many best receivers.
Sam was always going to start!
Darnold is good...but can he produce in the big games under pressure on the road against a quality team? We haven't seen that yet...we will next week.
Yes, he did it against the Packers in Green Bay and against the Seahawks last week.
@tbonealex Seattle is not a quality team imo but I'll give you GB
@@klmbaby6 Seattle almost beat Vikings. now seattle is not a good home team but seattle almost beat the vikings and they're not even build yet.

@unicornhearts if I'm not mistaken didn't Darnold throw a pick 6 in he's very first pass in the NFL in that game against the Lions?

I remember week 2 or 3 when Stephen A. said “Sam Darnold had one good Sunday afternoon.” I commented, “he’s going to say that every week.”
Shannon gave him no shot, he still can’t give him props, he just sits there and says he’s got weapons
Its the ignant QB is resposible for the whole team.....it is a team game
