The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The 2021 US Open saw Russia's Daniil Medvedev and Great Britain's Emma Raducanu claim the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first major title, with 18-year-old Raducanu becoming the first-ever qualifier to achieve the feat. The 2022 US Open main draw is scheduled to go ahead between August 30 - September 11.

It's incredible how Roger had chances to go 5-1(or even 6-0 ) against novak at uso but still ended up being 3-3... Tennis is a game of thinnest of margins and their matchups here proves it so well
yeah he made some incredibly bad decisions on break points in 2015 final too
@@mindiatarieladze6148 true... He was the better player in 2015 uso but still lost as has been the case in their matchups since 2014 ...
@@vijayendranvijay4538 How was he "the better player"?
Djokovic won in 4 sets with 3 6-4.
The 4th set should even have been 6-2, Djokovic panicked a little when he served for the match which is the only reason why he only won 6-4.
In 2010 and 2011 I didn't see Federer as the better player either. In 2011 wins the first set 9-7 in tie-break. Djokovic won sets 3 and 4 6-2 and 6-3. Federer had match points in the 5th set but at the end of the 4th set Djokovic clearly had more points/games.
And come on, in 2010 Djokovic wins his sets 6-1 and 6-2, Federer wins his 7-5 and 7-5. Djokovic was clearly the better player that day.
In Grand Slams, Federer only beat Djokovic version 2007-2009. Afrer 2010, Djokovic clearly had the advantage. 3-0 in Wimbledon finals, 1-1 in RG (but Djokovic beat TWICE Nadal in RG), and 3-0 in Australia.
@@jessyjohaug7392 if he is one swing away from taking the match , how wasn't he a better player until that point? Having match points is better than losing sets 6-1 and 6-2..also he wasted like ton's of break points in first 3 sets of uso 2015..its more of roger's choking than novak's brilliance in all these matches... okay going by your logic, who was the better player in wimby 2019? 😂😂.. Let's see what pathetic logic u come up with.. Novak started to beat a 33+ Yr old roger consistently and this is nothing special to boast about.. Infact a 38 yr old, giving a physically better player and who is 6yrs younger a run for his money by holding 2 match points in best of 5 sets😂😂... We all know who is greater my friend.. BTW, I clearly mentioned how tennis is a game of thinnest of margins and I acknowledged that by saying novak capitalised it to his advantage in tight matches especially 2010 and 2011...i don't understand why you are so but*hurt... Are u a novaktard by any chance?
Djokovic should’ve won in 2007
FEDAL ❤️ Forever!!! 🇪🇸🙌🇨🇭
There was no finer sight in Tennis and few finer sights in sport than Federer at his best.
Kept losing on clay
@@varunshahvo-tv9854 It was a matchup issue. The one he lost to was Nadal and we know what the matchup was. Roger said he would have had to change his game but he wasn't willing to at that point.
@@varunshahvo-tv9854 So what? Still Federer at prime dominates players of many styles the most than anyone.
@@kalyantpvlol Nadal bullied prime Federer in 2008 Wimbledon Novak spanked him in 2008 AO

Hope they will play against each other soon!
Who?
Love watching these old matches. But the most annoying part was the non stop commentary in the background. It was very unpleasant. They did not stop talking….not even while the point was being played
Agreed! Blahblah-ing at length about Roger's lacklustre season while in the background Roger breaks Djokovic in the first set, lol. It's extremely distracting & takes away from the intensity of the match & the pleasure of watching it.
Federer and Nadal Golden 🏆 Era of Tennis. 🇪🇸🐐+🇨🇭🐐= 👑💎
its so sweet , how former emenies the fedal fans are now best friends and how they trying desperatly with everything they can to delected djokovic succes and Djokovic GOAT title;)

@Kumar Meitei Nadal lead Djokovic h2h in slams😂😂
@@rishbahpandey8697 It's only because of RG, on all others GS Novak leads
@@dimitrijestevanovic9964is that true?? Dopovic fanboys somehow don't recognize the US open as a slam because dopovic did bad over there.. He's a doper anyway from huff and puff no mental strong attitude whatsoever to a mentally strong player ripping t-shirts after he wins.. DOPING. Plus he doesn't lead on all slams except Roland Garros. Even on Wimbledon it's just 2-1.. Novak only has some gs wins over RN because of AO I can say the same thing
Djokovic started beating Federer really when he hits 30 s that's why Federer is real 🐐

It really is ridiculous and a bit childish to not mention Novak after everything he's done for the sport.
Novak should be #1 (on a list for early retirements when he was losing).
Wow y'all fedal guys be really salty, Novak was what, 21? Prime Federer on display here is pretty epic though.
Roger was 19 when be beat Sampras and Rafa was 19 when he beat Roger. Nole fans with every excuse possible.
And Federer was 38 in 2019, your point?
@@moluther2826 Point is that prime Federer beats any version of Djokovic if 38 year old Fed had MPs

Mats wilander... Other person I am not aware
Garbage
I was wondering if this was the match Novak won but then I thought UA-cam wouldn’t show that one. I was right.
They already have uploaded the matches Novak won on their channel. Sorry to spoil your agenda...
Novak fan playing victim again, what else is new?
All of those matches are on UA-cam.
It’s funny when Novak fans think Novak dominated a prime Federer. 😂 this isn’t even prime Federer in 08 and Novak couldn’t beat him
After Djokovic broke 2 records in 2 days you are uploading his loss to Fedex. Pathetic.
So you wont count all these only gs when roger is already 33 like wimby 2014 and after that losses??

You is pathetic
@kakashihatake1029 yeah playing against pathetic competition
@@Zehpolishw0nder Lol who was Federer playing against in his prime? Not any better
djokovic was 2008 the same maybe a little bit better then federer..
Big titles novak 4 and federer only 1..
and the ranking is almost the same only 10 points different between both.....
“Djokovic was 2008” didn’t know people could be years
Djokovic did have an amazing 2008, won Aus Open while beating Fed and just losing 1 set, 2 masters and World Tour Finals. Fed won US open and was inches from 6 straight Wimbledons and also made FO finals. But it’s very close, Fair to say it was 10 points that separated them.
I donlt know if djokovic was better than Fed in 08. The dream matchup would be Fed 07 vs Djokovic 15. Djokovic 15 would not have made those mistakes he made in this match.
@@derrickc1353 I feel like fed was actually better in 06 than 07 - the stats back it too
Djokovic 2011 vs fed 06 would be legendary
Nadal 2010 would be interesting to throw into the mix too - his serve and overall consistency that year was mind blowing
@@jbryan985 I guess I put more stock in how players perform in the Grand slams more than overall season records. Because both of them are and were chasing slams.
