I’m 52 & not a very religious man, yet every time I doubt, something within the deepest part of my being makes me pause & I know Jesus & God are as real as me typing these words right now! It’s been that way since I was a child & first learned about Christianity. My family didn’t attend church growing up nor do I now yet I would still step into the abyss on my gut alone that he watches over us all. 🙏🏼

You have been loved by God before your inception, now, you need to turn to Him, accept His sacrifice and be reborned of the Spirit. ( John 3:3 ) This is the biggest and THE most important step required from you to be saved and to experience Him in all His glory. Be wise, time is of essence, time is ticking, don't be left behind like a dummy. I love you, God bless.

That was well explained! The fidelity to the biblical prophecies of the Old Testament was what made the explanation much better and the visuals are actually engaging.
I have just finished reading through the passion narratives of the Lord Jesus Christ from the Gospel of Matthew and this is a timely find for me. Thank you for this endeavor in your UA-cam channel and I hope that you will keep on doing this.
Great job! You are being a blessing to the Kingdom through this.
May the Lord bless your work even more for the good of His people and the glory of His Name.
    I liked and subscribed, too!

That last part of the video reminds me of a story about St. Lawrence, a Christian leader from the days of the Roman persecution. The Roman authorities commanded him to gather up all the treasures the Church had in the area, and give them over to the government. He told them it would take a few days to gather them all, and they said they would return in the coming days to collect the treasure. When the Romans returned, they saw no treasure, only a crowd of poor and ill people. They asked him, "Where are the treasures you promised?", and he responded, gesturing to the crowd, saying, "These are the treasures of the Church." For this St. Lawrence was burned alive.

Is it possible that the last 6 chapters of Zechariah were not actually written by Zechariah? The subject matter and style changes dramatically in Zechariah chapter 9, I am looking at the possibility that the Chapters 9-14 were copies of prophesies Zechariah had that were originally written by Jeremiah / Baruch.
    Great video!

In Matthew's account, Judas killed himself right after he threw away the money on the ground and the priest used his money to buy the land. But in Acts, Peter said, Judas bought the land and he killed himself on that very land.
These verses are contradicting. I'm a youth leader, please enlighten me. This is somehow weakening my trust to the scripture. 😭

With the payment he received for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out. Everyone in Jerusalem heard about this, so they called that field in their language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.” (Acts 1:18-19)
      We will use this verse.
It is a very big topic so we will have to do it in parts.
(1)The buyer of the land and (2) then the two differing accounts.
Part 1 the buyer of the land
To begin with it was the common general population that called it the field of blood because of the recent history surrounding the plot of land at the time in question.
To have a right understanding or a right mind set we will use an analogy.
      Example
A parked A"s car at a(pay for parking )carpark for 2 years. The owner (B)of the car park wants his fees for the space taken up over the 2years.B gets a court order first then legally sells the car to defray the cost, the amount remaining after B has taken his expenses must be given to A who is the still legally owner of the car.
We have established legally the car can be sold by someone other than the owner ,whilst the car is still owned by someone else(A) other than the seller in this case(B)
The above is the logic that we will use to proceed.
1)It was Judas"s money as he rendered the service.
2)The field was bought without Judas"s consent, as he threw the money back to the Jewish leaders who bought the field.
3)Why did they buy the field because they could not put blood money back into their coffers as it was a sin due to the services for which it was rendered.
So the jews bought the field with Judas"s money, they did not say their money because it was blood money and they wanted no portion of the cursed money, rightly saying it was Judas"s money which they could not take back so they used to buy a field that the common people renamed
So the answer to your question is it was Judas"s money, which the Jews used/bought the field with,a perfectly legal arrangement for the legal authorities that they the jews were.
So just as the car belongs to A ..so to the money belonged to Judas.
      In keeping with this logic.
Just as A"s possessions can be used by B so too did the Jew legal authority i.e leaders use Judas"s money
Before moving to part 2 do you have any questions with the analogy presented

      No contradiction in Judas"s death
      Acts 1:18
Now this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling headlong he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out.
Some people have wrongly assumed that Matthew and Luke (the author of Acts) are contradictory in their account of Judas’ death. Since the Bible is inerrant Judas cannot have died by hanging and died by falling and bursting open. Rather they are two different viewpoints of the same event. For example, if I saw a car hit a pedestrian, I might simply say that the pedestrian died because he was hit by the car. The coroner who came on the scene later but did not actually see the accident might give a graphic description of the injuries to the pedestrian. Both the coroner and I are describing the same event just different aspects of it.
There is no contradiction surrounding Judas’ death but rather two descriptions given by two different authors of the same event.
Matthew tells us that Judas died by hanging (death is inferred from the passage). Luke, being a doctor, gives us a graphic description of what occurred following the hanging. The reason for ordering the events as such is twofold. First, if someone has fallen and their internal organs spilled out, they would die and so could not subsequently die from hanging. Second, even when people suffer bad falls, they do not usually burst open and have their internal organs spill out. Skin is very tough, and even when it is cut in the abdominal area, internals do not usually spill out. Thus, it is unlikely that Judas could die in this manner merely from falling.
Gruesome as it is, Judas’ dead body hung in the hot sun of Jerusalem, and the bacteria inside his body would have been actively breaking down tissues and cells. A byproduct of bacterial metabolism is often gas. The pressure created by the gas forces fluid out of the cells and tissues and into the body cavities. The body becomes bloated as a result. In addition, tissue decomposition occurs compromising the integrity of the skin. Judas’ body was similar to an overinflated balloon: as he hit the ground (due to the branch he hung on or the rope itself breaking), the skin easily broke, and he burst open with his internal organs spilling out.
There is no contradiction surrounding Judas’ death but rather two descriptions given by two different authors of the same event.
