If you really want to avoid softmodding a console to dump games I think one thing you could try doing is using ntrboot to boot into godmode9. This does require a ntrboot flashed DS flashcart and a magnet and some finger contortions to make it work everytime you wish to boot it up to dump games but I think it's technically possible to dump games without softmodding a 3DS. ;) Unless the ntrboot payload people typically use for 3DS ntrboot carts is just an installer.....Then I suppose it would still end up counting as softmodding...It's been awhile since I've used it actually. If it ran a payload off SD as the installer then you could use gm9 as the payload for it instead...I just don't recall now if there was one or not for the normal ntrboot package.
I haven't tried or even thought of ntrboot in a long time even though I still own an Ace3DS. That is a good idea however but I think from what I remember ntrboot technically softmods the console in the end which really isn't a bad thing. Load all the games that are under 4GB on the Stargate then install any other games over 4GB on the SD card. You'll have lots of space and organization.
I'm currently thinking about buying it, but is DS mode incomplete? I heard that homebrew software for NDS doesn't start and you can't use cheats, but is that actually the case?
Thanks so much for the tutorial! But please stop saying 'subscribe and like' over and over, or talk about other unnecessary info, it takes away from comprehensiveness of the tutorial. Maybe edit out the parts that aren't entirely necessary? Just a friendly suggestion :>

Emulators keep crashing when i try to boot them up in ds mode, Is there a fix to this? Lameboy and gbarunner2 arm7 both keep crashing
I mentioned this, emulators don't boot only nds games do. I tried multiple things but I couldn't get it working unfortunately.
Man, I JUST installed CFW because I couldn't find any sort of 3DS flashcard. Where was this?
AliExpress 😃
Is it 100% necessary to need to dump your 3ds/ds cartridges onto the Stargate?
It's a 100% necessary that you need encrypted 3ds games dumped under 4GB yes 😉
Up to how large is the capacity of a micro sd card possible?
@user-po1vl7uw3f not sure but I used a 128GB card and that was more than enough for the games I own.
Out of curiosity, if you could put 3DS games on this cartridge, could you also put in the DLC?
You can just update your games as per usual the servers just think the game is a legit copy since they are technically encrypted games.
I heard a sky3ds plus can play 3ds games as well
It's also 3x the price that is if you can find one.
no timebomb on stargate 3ds?
No that's only for the R4 Card.
You talk way too much
Awesome glad to hear it 👌
I added time stamps just for you 😂
@@DNAMobileGaming thx i just wanted to set it up
No problem 😃 I like to talk, this video was originally 40 minutes lol.
