Alain Marion was my flute teacher for 3 years in Paris. A wonderul player, teacher and person. His wife, Christiane, is a great friend. I may teach a summer school( with1 or 2 other disciples of the Rampal School) at her place in South of France next year, 2012.

Wonderful recording. Two very important teachers of mine were students of Marion, I feel like I know him but unfortunately we never met. His legacy still lives on.
