- This is a Minecraft Marketplace Addon called FARMING by Podcrash. This addon costs 1340 Minecoins. This is a showcase with no commentary.
Add lots of new food types to any world of your choice with our Farming add-on with over 160+ new variations of crops, trees, food, drink, and mobs in your world. Explore your world to find new plants like chili, lettuce, and corn, or find and breed new animals like turkeys, ducks, and bison.

Thanks! I really enjoyed making the showcase and seeing how much effort you guys put into it! It had some very interesting recipes like chili jam and peaches pie 🥧
I also loved how you made the crafting recipes so that you get your bucket or glass bottle back! That’s something I’ve been missing in other packs. That made the recipes very expensive in those packs! Something was a bit weird with the size of the animals though. If I aged them, they were bigger than the other adults?
@@BedrockPrincess We tried to make the recipes as common sense as possible, so its nice to hear that's working! As for the animals. That sounds like a bug!!! We're looking into it now :D

I agree! It’s so Minecrafty that it fits perfectly with vanilla Minecraft.

My only wish is that I'd personally prefer for the crops to be a little less common. It'd be fun to travel around and be excited to find new crops with the same excitement you used to get finding diamonds instead of just turning around and "oh, another berry bush/ tree has materialized out of nowhere."
l just found out about this yesterday night and streamed the magic n gravestone one and this is one of the best updates added to minecraft in a while. I’ve always been a console player so having mod like worlds is fun
Addons that fit perfectly and work in conjunction with one another without breaking are perfect

I just got this add on and holy crap it is so good. Now we can create orchards and fields of different crops. Plus vineyards with all the grapes. My custom medieval village/city just got a gargantuan upgrade with all the new buildings you could add for all the stuff

The only thing I dislike about some of the newer add-ons is that they retread the work other add-ons have done.
For example the ducks and geese are already in naturalist, now there’s two types. Same with the Myths and Dragons one that just came out being like Dragonfire.
Downloaded them both regardless lmao, but it’s gonna be weird having two types of ducks etc
I agree! I have thought about that too. I haven’t combined the addons in a world yet. Might do it when there’s more addons and have a Frankenstein world with over 50 addons 🤯
Have you been able to move past the fact theirs two of those mobs? Considering getting this but don’t wanna buy it if I’m just gonna turn one off. Also how do you find these crops since I thought add ons can’t affect your world generation
@@AdamPavlak The seeds can be found by breaking grass (like regular seeds) and fruit trees grow all over your world, you can break them to get saplings!

@@AdamPavlakI’m definitely fine with it, I think it’s still early days for the add-on implementation in Bedrock so I’m pretty lenient with little things like that.
The diversity is really cool and obviously adds a lot to the game.

When i downloaded it the new trees would break whenever i stood neer them no mater how grown they were any way to stop it so i can farm
For some reason i havent been able to find horses or wandering traders since activating this addon, is it just a happenstance thing or is something replacting them?
I had not one, not two, but THREE wandering traders spawn near me with it active, it is probably a bug on your part or possibly luck
hey the crafting items won’t show in the crafting table, is there a fix to that?
I wow this mod is way more extensive then I thought. Sadly it doesn't add anything that makes farming easier or more efficient. I was hope if anything we'd get more recipes for for our already neglected foods. I personally would've loved more Coco beans/chocolate recipes. Chocolate cake, brownies, chocolate syrup, chocolate bar, etc.
Idk if I'll get this since it doesn't even fit my gameplay. I like animals and powers. 😂

Will this work in already existing worlds or do I need to start a new world for these new crops to spawn? Or is it possible to trade with villagers for them?
You can add this add-on to an existing world. I did not try trading with villagers, but I think you can't trade with villagers.

what’s the best food in this add on?
I have the problem that the animals hardly spawn at all, be it from the mod or from the game. Otherwise I always had cows, pigs and so on with me, but with the mod I hardly have them at all anymore.

Don’t you think Minecraft needs a update to help console players handle these mods? People on pc years ago could play crazy craft no problem but I can’t put 6 mods on without lagging

Yes, we do know about this issue and have already found and fixed it! Hopefully in the next Microsoft push they'll be able to update our Add-On which contains this fix.

Is there anyway to cultivate the trees instead of having to go out and find them manually?
They appear in specific biomes. The guide book says where you can find them. You can break them and get a sapling. You will only get one so farming is not possible, I guess.
This is actually a bit of oversight on our behalf! We’re working on improving tree / sapling growth so you can build your own orchards!

Remove it from your world. Restart your minecraft and add it again. It should work then. It bugged for me too in the beginning.

Are the plants entity?
They’re definitely entities, they have no traditional hit box like other plants.
The creator of the mod said yes, but they also said they'd eventually phase the entities out once Minecraft creator features are more updated to allow for other custom blocks.
Hey 👋 creator here. Yes at the minute they are! And I know it’s not the best but at the minute it’s the only practical solution that would allow us to make this.
As mentioned above though, the minute the features come to Minecraft we’re planning to update the addon with “real” plants and trees.

How to get vegetables seed?
Break the grass that grows naturally and it will drop seeds!

k the addons are great and all but just too get one silly little add on is 5 - 10 dollars I think it’s unfair cause Java gets any mod that they desire on ANY version they want while console players have too pay hundreds of dollars too do something like that I hate Microsoft and what they’ve done
Why are the trees like that though? Why not just make actual “Minecraft” trees. Not sure how I feel about that.
Unfortunately it’s not possible to do that yet! We’re waiting on that feature to be added to Minecraft before we can change it.
