- On May 23, 2024 around 12:50 PM, Officer Michael LeStrange with the Lyndhurst Police Department was conducting traffic control for a funeral procession at the intersection of Ridge Road and New York Avenue, and he observed a male operating a motorcycle in a reckless manner. The rider passed several vehicles on the right at a red light before improperly turning onto Ridge Road. He began pursuing the rider on his department’s motorcycle, and eventually closed the gap.
The rider appeared to pull over on Ridge Road near Woodland Avenue in Rutherford, NJ, before ignoring the officer’s verbal commands to pull over and suddenly making an improper U-turn. After the U-turn, the rider headed south on Ridge Road, turned west onto Marginal Road, and merged onto Route 3 West. The rider eventually pulled over on Route 3 West after the officer gave him loud verbal commands to pull over. The officer then made contact with the rider, identified as 18-year-old Rozario Ymeraj, and detained him by placing him in handcuffs.
Officer LeStrange radioed police headquarters to update them on his location, and Sergeant Philip Reina arrived on scene shortly afterwards. Rozario told Officer LeStrange that he had just purchased the vehicle on Facebook Marketplace, and he acknowledged that he had not insured or registered the motorcycle. A check of the motorcycle’s VIN revealed that it had been reported stolen in Suffolk County, New York on April 10, 2024. As this was being confirmed, Officer Salvatore Wartel also arrived on scene to assist.
Rozario was informed that he was under arrest, and Officer Wartel searched him before placing him in his patrol car and transporting him back to the Lyndhurst Police Department for further processing. The motorcycle was impounded by Nick’s Towing. Officer Wartel escorted Rozario into the police station, and he was photographed and finger printed. The Suffolk County Police Department was notified that they were in possession of the stolen motorcycle so that they could advise the owner that his motorcycle had been recovered. Rozario was eventually released pending his court appearance in the Bergen County Superior Court on June 12, 2024.
Rozario was issued the following 2 criminal summonses:
-Receiving Stolen Property (2C:20-7A)
-Eluding (2C:29-2B)
Rozario was also issued the following 21 traffic citations:
-Reckless driving

Im betting officer Pascamero is real proud to have his name thrown around like this
I was just thinking that and that my parents would murder me for doing something like that and then bringing someone I am assuming is a family friend into it, to try to get out of facing the consequences. Then again if that was his immediate reaction his parents have never given him any consequences or he wouldn't be behaving like that.
I was with a cop for almost 10 years and he always told me if you get caught with illegal substances or run from police don't ever use his name. Traffic stops for speeding or moving violations it was ok to use the family PBA card.
Giving 2-1 odds this kid is “connected “ to someone in waste management
I don't know. I think he would have been more cocky and told the officers that they were going to "sleep with the fishes".😂
Hahahaha "Whats the hell amatta with you" thats when you got someone from jersey super pissed
Legend has it he’s still saying literally
It's hilarious that he thinks the guy that sold him a stolen bike gave him his real name or that he's ever going to be able to find him. I don't know much about bikes but I'm betting that bike is worth a lot more than $3K.
Bike looked like a 250 or a 500. The 500s new retail around 7500, so it's not farfetched that you can pick up a used one for 3500. A friend of mine bought a new Kawasaki 250r for 3500.
I’m 17 just turned 18 🤔
Case must still be open. Jail is in order.
His parents must be so proud.
The only thing that went right on this stop for the suspect is that he still has a chance to graduate high school. Hope he didn't throw away his bus pass.
WTF 2 criminal charges and 21 traffic citations? That cop really wanted the throw the book at him. I bet it all gets plea bargained down to an illegal parking ticket.
Tough love l guess?
Why was traffic on the highway being blurred out?
For license plates maybe?
1984…..dystopian society.
NJ/NY cars have front license plates
They were flipping the cops as they drove by.
Consequences Mr. You're screwed. High insurance, big time.☯️ Rt 3:is the worst hwy in NJ.
And says his first time. And he drove like that and no motorcycle stamp on his license He is a liar.
He’s a 18 , and already have demons on him, God please saved this young man future
I find it annoying that they have to blur out everything. This is the first one that they blur out the traffic
I’m sure he is so sorry. Tickets. Fine and overnight in jail. He could have killed himself or someone else.
He didn’t go to jail, it’s NJ
With all those citations...
I bet all but one will be dropped.
Because prosecutors.
Plea bargains are made to prevent costly and time consuming trials. The Judge, Prosecutor, and Defense ALL agree to the charges. That's why it's important to vote people out of office if you don't like how things are done.
@@scottmichaels6854 Very well said.
But, still... I really do think that they should not be dropped if there is positive proof of the event.
It's worth noting that sometimes prosecutors don't even raise some charges for them to be pled out.
Also... I think that some crimes should NEVER be dropped.
Violence against a child.
Violence against an officer...
You get my drift.
The cop finds out that the bike is stolen, then asked him if he had insurance on it? How would you insure a stolen motorcycle?🤔
Could always photoshop fake insurance 😂 Think that would be an additional charge
How did the seller get the title (to sell it) if the bike is stolen?
Blurring out traffic is beyond insane….
Yeah why’d they do that
Too much blurring and muting
He said at one point ask the Sgt, I’ve been good recently! Like wth? I live when I’m in the work truck and I see these guys trying to get around traffic and I accidentally block them in and watch them cry like babies like I’m wrong. He went around a funeral and he saw the cops, he’s definitely not very bright, probably wears a helmet on the bus also. Hope at least half the charges stayed to teach him a lesson while he’s young, maybe next time he’ll be smarter?
The bike is still in 1 piece he failed in driving it like he stole it.
Love these videos.
Clown still in High School ?
Yeah, 18 yrs old is a high school age.
yes 18 is high school senior dipshit💀
To be fair, a lot of people turn 18 during their senior year.
WTH? Is Officer Pascamero his personal police officer? Stop it.
This is the exact spot where a guy ran from the cops in a different video. He was 💩 in the back seat of the cop car
he sounds like he has an accent. where is he from?
We have a lot of different nationality here in Lyndhurst
Albanian surname.
Albanian
rip
Cops hate bikers. But mostly street bikers not Harley-Davidson riders
I think they should of given this young man a pass due to bad life choices! Not
Man they were harder on this kid than they are on hardened criminals.
Running from cops on Rte 3 is insanely dangerous. It's one of the major ways people get in and home from NYC and it's always packed. He could have hurt alot of people or himself. The cops were pissed at his stupidity
@@Spicyramenmama oh okay, yeah it does look pretty busy.
Oh my god, give me break! They lectured him for his stupidity. Yeah that is so brutal. I swear, people are so SOFT today.🙄
This guy had to have a motorcycle before. Yet didn’t have a motorcycle stamp on his license. Just by the way he was driving he knew how to drive it for sure.
That haircut should be a crime too
He’s bringing back the 80’s which would be fine with me.
😂😂😂
Lyndhurst Represented!!!! Next up: Secaucus, then Hackensack… then… Manalapan!!! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@@TranslateToEnglish what🤣
@@TranslateToEnglish I did, but I went back and looked....I see it can have a double meaning.!! All good
@@ge3186 👍🏿
He seems like a decent kid.
And you know this by watching an edited 22 minutes of his 18 years on earth?🙄
