#174 1973 93ci stroker std panhead pan cover fitting rebuild motor shovelhead harley tatro machine
the job started as a simple rebuild and down grade from a 98ci motor to a more reliable 93ci motor. we also are slapping on a set of std panheads.
the first big problem was the cases were junk. the left hand main bearing case insert was loose. see how i fixed this major problem and all the other things that pop up.

Pacific mike says paper board gaskets seal best with white lithium grease
I've been using bearing grease to increase their seal better since i was a kid and saw grampa do it .what do you think ? I believe I've seen you use what looks like contact cement on yours before .
