I remember the first time I heard this song, I was blown away. Creed has some absolute bangers, much like NIckelback who get shit all over for no reason. My holy grail of guitar tones is Mark Tremonti and Chad Kroger. Absolute riff masters.
Never forget when our guitarist learned this and introduced it to the band. As a singer this is one of the harder songs I used to sing. Definitely gotta time the breaths.
Such a clean cover. Nice guitar playing. I stumbled upon this video cause I randomly decided to cover this song lol. Really surprised someone covered this song in 2023!
Been looking at Schecters recently and stumbled upon this. Now this vid is the example i use to show the beauty in not only the tone but the instruments themselves.
It's not a pinch harmonic, it's just a regular harmonic on the 3rd fret. The sweet spot to hit it is just in back of the actual 3rd fret, not on the fret. Just lightly strum around that area while hitting the harmonics until you get the right pitched one to ring out.
Your channel would be much more informative if you shared how to achieve these tones. I'm sure a majority of players coming to watch your playthroughs also need guidance to getting these kinds of sounds and/or what kind of gear that it takes. Just my two cents. 🤷♂️ Your playing is always fantastic.
The harmonic on the riff part? It's actually a natural harmonic, all you do is just touch the string above third fret (for this song) with your fretting hand then pluck the string
👋Wow 🤯 that was fast. Definitely impressed by your ability to learn so quickly. If you get a patreon or a way for me to contribute to your success let me know. 👊
Wow just discover your channel my friend and love the nu-metal, your cover are really really great ! How did you record your guitare ? The mix is really neat !
The only major thing I changed is I play the bridge in a different position from how I first did it. Didn't have to be re-done but since I'm going through the whole album, I figured I may as well do it again.
I use a range of pedals. TC Electronic, Boss, and MXR mainly. For this song, on the cleans I used a TC Electronic Hall of Fame 2 reverb pedal, main distortion is just the EVH 5150 blue channel dry with no effects or boosts. For the bridge, again the reverb pedal and a wah which is a Dunlop Crybaby From Hell and that's it for this song.
@MysticGuitar77 I had a CryBaby from Hell about 10 years ago and I never realized how nice of a pedal that was because of how young I was. Wish I still had it but thank you for the information!
@@AnotherPassing1 Yeah, it's nice because you can adjust the wah level to wherever you want it and it has a built-in boost. It's almost like having 5 wah pedals in one.
I honestly don't understand why Creed get so much hate they are an outstanding band
SCREAM 3, BABY!
HELL YEAH 👻
The best soundtrack. Introduced me to many good bands back in the day.

Man I couldn't agree more. Some of the most amazing guitar pieces of all time came from those guys.
I agree about Creed but not Nickleback. Creed is way better
Dude creed and Nickelback make fucking bangers. All the hate trend hoppers are idiots
Tone is ridiculously good. Great performance

This song is WICKED fun to play live! I switch up the guitar parts a bit as our CREED tribute "Weathered" is a 4-piece. Nice work Sir!!! \m| |m/
That pinch harmonic at 0:44 is killing me! Do u have any tips on how to do it?

@@MysticGuitar77 thank you friend. I spent the last 2 hours practicing pinch harmonics cause i thought that is how u do it. 🫠🫠

Noticed, that you made cover of this song again, you did it in the end of 2020 year! What is different between these two covers?
