The timing of this song as a reaction, won't get into reasons, it's right there in the lyrics...one of their darkest takes on our social/political conundrums in an era of mass media consumption yet little actual interpersonal social interactions
Just some constructive criticism. I love watching your genuine reaction when listening to the song. When you recap the song after the reaction, it sounds like you’re just reading the Wikipedia page on the song. It doesn’t seem authentic. Don’t worry about what you’re going to say in the recap or if you might stumble over your words or not have anything insightful to add. Just be authentic. The listeners want your genuine reaction. Not trying to be mean or anything. Just trying to help out.
Yeah I’m not sure if he wrote down some notes that he’s reading or referencing, or if he is just reading what others have written about the song. But it feels rehearsed rather than his own first thoughts, which is a bummer since he seems to love the song and gets it.
I noticed this on his other TOOL reactions too… either he is super great at hearing and understanding and expressing everything on a first listen better than 90% of the reactors out there (and not really being appreciated for that), or he’s kinda cheating by reading other people’s thoughts.
You went and done it now.....They have quite a rabbit hole 🔥👍
I just bought my Tool Ticket for Feb 5th 2024 in Denver Colorado. 🎵🎵🎵🎵
I just went to Aftershock! And we're going to Eugene and Portland next week😊 and got tickets to Fresno next year. Can't wait. Have fun!

This song fucking rocks. But it is more than just music. It is also a Message!! Listent to the lyrics brother!

To me the opening of Vicarious is a bridge or a nod to Lateralus to begin the heavier 10,000 Days. My vote says, put “Jambi” on your list.
Greatness right there!
I agree
you should listen to ne obliviscaris - and plague flowers the kaleidoscope. they are amazing
