A country where people earn $30 a month and a BigMac costs $8.
A country where the goverment made it illegal for doctors to report starvation as the cause of death.
Where the police will frame you for drugs if you refuse to pay they bribes.
6 Million venezuelans have fled to become refugees as of 2022, which is roughly 21 percent of the population.
Many of those who flee do so on foot, without a dollar in their pocket, walking thousands of miles in search of a better life.
Some who already made it realise that life in another country as a Venezuelan isn't half what they'd hoped for.
Shall we go put our feed in the dirt, meet the people, and hear their side of the story? I think so.

A really informative video, that provides a great insight into the struggles of those who are unfortunate to be a Venezuelan native. Isn't it crazy how the greed and corrupt nature of a government can create such a humanitarian crisis. I really hope in my lifetime we see a positive change to help migrants internationally.

It used to push my content back when I was making videos in the Middle East. The Israel/Palestine videos where clocking in tens of thousands of views. Well, what else can I do but hope for it to change.

do you understand everything at first or have to re-hear the recordings a bit? It's a lot of slang as well that the average native spanish speaker who are non colombian nor venezuelan would even have trouble with
This was filmed a few months ago, my Spanish is way better these days. At the time I understood most of what they were saying by context, as you can see I was responding in real time. But if I didn't understand something at all I wouldn't stop the video I would just nod my head and later watch it back or whatever.

I don't think they were high, they were just coping with their situation. When you live every day in such an environment you have to adapt to it, they use irony and drugs to cope with that life. They aren't mocking you, they just shield themselves with jokes and so on because thinking about a better life just makes them suffer, so better not to think about it. I've seen that behavior in many other people with shitty jobs/life situations.
