Can you explain the process to prep the mud guards for the spray paint. I would assume there's more to it than just applying some isopropyl alcohol to the plastic. Did you apply a primer? I bought the exact same mud flaps. Can't wait to get them on.
I used a gloss black paint with a built in primer. Just clean the part and put a real light coat on. Repeat until you have full coverage. Do not keep putting additional coats on. Just enough until it looks nice. Mine still look as good as the day I put them on. Beautiful
Can you supply a link or the seller’s name. AliExpress lists several and since they come from China and any attempt to return them would be pointless, I want to get the one you used so I know it fits.

There are several of those side ratchets on Amazon and Autozone. Some have several different sizes of Torx bits.
