Hi, Thank you for the super clear instructions. I completed the task as instructed; however, once I installed the lock set the deadbolt does not engage when I use the key. I turn key in lock but deadbolt does not move even though I tested prior to installation. Any recommendations?
The LOCKING BAR you flipped will lock the handle on the door from the inside. Why do this? I’ve seen two videos where they’ve advised the same adjustment and that can potentially lock you INSIDE the house.

Thank you very much ! Inverting the locking bar will cause the knob to lock on the other side of the door... I did not change that part.

I installed this today but key won't turn the deadbolt and latch won't move
First, take a picture before removing any parts in case forget how it goes back in. Then take it apart.
