One thing that I've heard over the years that definitely needs to be addressed, is the horribly gross misconceptions that Western men come to Eastern Europe looking for prostitutes or purely sexual interactions with Eastern European women and the horribly gross misconception that Western men try to buy Eastern European women when we spend money on them or we spend a lot of time shopping or going to restaurants... Those are huge cross-cultural misunderstandings!
As a Western man who has been to Eastern Europe and spent nearly two decades living in Japan and traveling to other parts of Asia, I can tell you from firsthand experience that...
(1) Western men aren't looking for prostitutes in Eastern European countries, Western men are in fact looking for what we absolutely do not have in our own countries, which is women who have family values and want to get married and stay married and aren't solely obsessed with getting divorced and suing the sh*t out of their husband, as is so common in North America.
(2) Western men aren't trying to buy you off when we spend lots of money one you, Western men in fact spend lots of money on women, etc. simply because money isn't as hard to come by in Western countries as it is in Eastern Europe so, Western people in general are far less conservative when it comes to spending.
If you come to the West, you may find yourself shocked at how much money spend on shopping, restaurants, etc...
That's why we have terms like "Disposable Income" in the West, because people get paid every week in North America and some more money is only a week away, not to mention the fact that credit card companies give away credit cards in Western countries and subsequently some people have as many as 10 to 15 or even 20 credit cards, so disposable income is rarely a problem.

Untrue. I am a Black man who lived in Ukraine and married to a Ukrainian woman. My fellow black students who also lived and studied in Ukraine are all married to Ukrainian women. It happens a lot because Ukrainians and Africans share the same family values. So for Ukrainian women it is not so much about your ethnicity but how you come across and being a strong man ready to take the lead and take care of them and being a problem solver.
