You’ve just inspired me to hammer out some details on a challenge something along the lines of “kill a dread/do an elimination with only the flare gun” mathematically it’s feasible on like, haz 1, mayyybe 2. A full inventory of flares can do 840 damage. A basic dreadnought has 1k health and 340 health on the shell on haz 1. You can also use Karl class mod to equip more flare guns to increase your ammo pool.
When the new weapons come out itd ve cool if you did a haz 5 run using only the new weapons (no upgrades) i bet it isnt really a "challenge" for you but itd be a fun way to try them out for first time
@Grudge I think he didnt mean the animation cancelling, I think he's not familiar with the overclock. @Ghihanis He's using the Hipster fire overclock, it changes the m1000 into a rapid fire gun. It's probably the most powerful overclock for the m1000. Furthermore as Grudge pointed out you can animation cancel during the reload, the best way of doing this is with the laser pointer, because it will allow you to keep sprinting. 15 attempts, the final one took 10 minutes. So 2.5 hours at worst, most likely under 2.

It's interesting that the end game screen says the minerals mined by team is 1. I can't figure out why
Its a leftover bug from when minerals mined was effected by hazard scaling, playing hazard 5 gives 1 stray xp for minerals mined.

you alternate with your mining key (right mouse button) and shooting key (left mouse button)
you can do this in many other aspects, like platform guns, flare guns, etc
