I saw Herbie here in ireland ten long years ago….. had tickets for his return this year ….. sadly covid killed that! …… it was his “imagine” tour…. I was lost in his playing….. around halfway into the gig he just got stuck into his own thing on the pianos and keyboards…. At least a half hour of him just tinkering and telling his story…. From watermelons and cantaloupes to rock it ….. ten years later I still think it’s the greatest gig I ever went to
