47712 & 47805 The Royal Windsor Statesman

The Royal Windsor Statesman (1Z22 15:04 Windsor & Eton Riverside to Paignton) captured on Thursday evening (2nd May 2024) approaching Teignmouth, being hauled by 47712 Lady Diana Spencer with 47805 (D1935) ‘Roger Hosking MA 1925-2013’ at the rear.
I had been at Torre Station, Torquay earlier in the morning to capture the tour on the outbound trip but due to a points failure at Newton Abbot all trains from Paignton were delayed so I was unable to stick around to see it. In the end it all turned out well with much better weather in the evening than it was in the morning.
